This tour had a small group which is great for my comfort. We walked a lot but mostly on flat surfaces and had great food and wine at the shops that were welcoming and with great service. The guide had many years of experience and knew the Tuscan food and drink well. She was very personable and was fluent in Italian and English. We learned a lot and interacted with the local owners of the shops which was great! Some in the group were frequent travelers and had many stories to share of their travels and knowledge of food . I would love to do as many food tours as I could.
Marco was our guide. I will post more on trip adviser. You really do see some back streets where there are few tourists. He was very knowledgeable and eager to have questions about his city, We had everything that is mentioned in the description of this tour. Truffles, chocolate, Gelato, Olive oil, balsamic vinigar, breads and pasty, wine and secco. We had previously done a wine tour and still learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the more in-depth knowledge and tastling of different olive oil.
There should be a 10 star option, that and #39;s my choice. Our guide who actually was one of the owners was phenomenal. Her knowledge, kindness, willingness to discuss all topics, and spent more time than was allotted. Linda was the best, and won over my husband which is rare. She made our trip a success.
Tour guide was great - not a native Italian so she had the benefit of an outside perspective, but has lived in Florence for many years so she had insider knowledge! We sampled prosecco, wine, gelato, cheese, charcuterie, vinegar, olive oil, and truffles - I didn't need dinner! Lots of fun and a great value.

Very enjoyable our guide Francesca was great. The only problem about the tour was that we did it in the middle/late afternoon so we could not eat that evening. We should have done it over the lunch time period.
This was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Linda of Urban Adventure, was very good and made it very informative and enjoyable.

This was a very good tour with an excellent guide who gave us lots of interesting information about the history of Florence, the food and the way of life in Italy. The tastings were quite ample so don't eat much before you go.
Tour guide was excellent, she presented us with many historical interested facts about food and wine in Florence and the important families who shaped Florence's history.
Best tour I did in Italy, Linda was a fantastic tour guide, lots of history, information and tips!!all the places were amazing - and yummy - places that as a tourist you would never find. After this tour I booked two more tours with Urban Adventures. The best way to discover the 'real' Florence. Thanks Linda and your crew!!
This is a really great tour. Gemma was waiting for us when we arrived at the meeting point and she was friendly and informative throughout the tour. Just four of us which made for a really personal experience. Visited places we may never have found and tasted wonderful food and wine.

This was a wonderful tour. The leader was very informative and personable. Keeping the group small was also nice as you visited from within. I'd recommend to anyone going to Florence!
We were met by our tour guide Linda. She was extremely knowledgeable of the area. SHe spoke great English, and had a great personality, you can tell she enjoys her job! She was nothing short of fabulous! This tour was a totally thumbs up! Wish the tour wouldn't end! Wish all the guides were like Linda, excellent!

AMAZING TOUR!! Linda, our guide, was phenomenal! She brought us to little restaurants and shops we never would have experienced on our own. We tasted amazing food, wine, etc., etc., etc!! The gelato at the end was the best anywhere in Florence and turned out to be righ behind our hotel!!!
Linda was wonderful with lots of knowledge on food and wine. My only concern was we found it hard to find her and could have missed the tour. There was nothing showing she was from Viator instead she was holding another sign which was a little confusing, luckily we asked at she was our guide.
Amazing!!!!! Loved this tour. Very informative and extremely enjoyable.Lynda was amazing!
I believe any city tour should start with a walking food tour. Our guide was wonderful - extremely knowledgeable - fun - and personable. I feel like I know Florence now and would love to visit our guide and the city again.
The tour guide was amazing - knowledgeable, enthusiastic and generous. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Florence. My only regret is not having done this tour when I first arrived so that I could have spent my time there knowing exactly where to go. Thanks.
We went into shops we wouldn't have found on our own. If you're the type who's into hole in the wall shops/resto, get this tour!
One of the best ways to see Florence. Spectacular local knowledge and fantastic food! Do not hesitate to book this tour!
Awesome tour with our guide Luca who's love of his city shines through his commentary and chat.
A great way of seeing some of Florence's history and place in the world through its food and wines.
Covers a lots of ground but not in kms and certainly has the variety to satisfy all tastes.Especially loved our time at Alimentari Uffizi with Alessandro, a true artist . Highly recommend this tour.
