Skip the Line: Best of Florence Walking Tour:
Your tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll join up with your guide. Avoid the long wait time at the Accademia Gallery and head straight inside with your direct access ticket. Tour around the museum, stopping at Michelangelo’s David, a 17-foot masterpiece created when the artist was only in his twenties.

Afterward, follow your guide through the historic streets and monuments of Florence. Soak up views of the Arno River as you cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge, and stroll through the bustling Piazza della Signoria, where the impressive Palazzo Vecchio sits. Then travel to the Duomo, the architectural gem of Florence. Tour the incredible structure, learning about the cathedral’s history and design from your guide as you go.

Enjoy two hours of free time to purchase lunch before beginning your afternoon tour.

Skip the Line: Uffizi Gallery Walking Tour:
Join up with your guide in front of the Uffizi Gallery and skip the long lines at the main entrance. Inside, hear the stories of the artists and patrons behind the museum’s expansive collection.

Admire Renaissance masterpieces as you walk, passing da Vinci’s Annunciation, Michelangelo’s Doni Tondo and the stunning Botticelli room, featuring the artist’s Birth of Venus and Primavera paintings. Afterward, take a stroll on the rooftop terrace to admire views of the city stretched out below. Your tour will conclude inside the museum, where you can continue to explore independently, if you wish.

This was a nice tour, the wait to the duomo was too long. Note to self, you can just go to a service that is offered multiple times on Sunday and I believe Wednesday. That would honestly be a shorter wait if you really want to see the inside. Otherwise the tour was great. It was fun hearing about the city and exploring. The galleries were obviously very cool.

Wow-our morning tour guide was EXCELLENT! Local womanWISH I could remember her name-it began with a P? who also does summer wine tours took us all through the city-Medieval neighborhoods, short wait at AcademiaSkip the line tours worth the price-we saw SUCH long lines, the David is a cannot miss- we learned SO MUCH about Florence. .I didn't enjoy the Uffizi as much-it was a fast paced see the highlights kind of tour-but after seeing so much art at the Vatican, i should have just done the half day tour instead.

I am really embarrassed that I forgot our tour guide's name. Think it was Silvia - short lady from Florence with a masters in art and studying psychology. She was by far the best tour guide I have ever encountered and I have done close to a dozen tours. Not only does she have a lot of passion for art but she is great in explaining to you what you need to look for and appreciate. Just listening to her explaining the David to you was worth the money alone. She is also really fun and made quite a few quirky jokes. I highly recommend seeing these museums and doing the walking tour. Thank you so much!!!

This is a MUST if you visit Florence. We had 2 great guides that loaded us up with Florence history. My husband was so touched seeing the slaves at the Accademia he was brought to tears. The Uffizi Gallery was amazing! We purchased a piece of art from a local artist outside the gallery. The skip the lines really help to see the best of Florence.

Normally the best thing about skip the line tours is just that. Sometimes, however, you get a first class guide. Tour as advertised. Superb guide was Matt. He clearly had a deep understanding not just of the city, but of art. The only thing to beware of is that although you do skip the line to get tickets, you still have to stand in line to get inside, and tighter security makes these even longer than normal. We waited for nearly 50 minutes to enter the Duomo. This isnt on the tour, or the guide. Its on the times.
