A fantastic tour to 2 very different vineyards. Tasted some lovely wine and both vineyards were great hosts! Lovely afternoon trip out of the hustle and bustle of Florence and worth every penny! Very well organised therefore would recommend it to anyone visiting.

The guide, fluent in 5 languages, was very informative and exceptionally well versed in all facets relating to grape varieties/growing, wines/wine-making, regulatory requirements, vineyards visited on the tour and the Chianti region overall. Greve was the perfect small town to visit on the tour i.e. up-market, interesting and uncrowded. Could have easily spent an hour in this town however, realize the tour timings only allowed for a short stay.
The overall tour was quite close to the heart of Florence however, covered a reasonable distance and WOW'd the group with breathtaking scenery along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking 'A Taste of Tuscany', in the Chianti region.

This is a delightful tour of the Chianti area. Part of the delight was our guide, Julio, who makes it clear, is in love with his country, his region and its native wines, and most of all, people. We saw a small family owned winery as well as a large, globally known operation. We also had time to walk around a tiny village in the area. It was a charming day, a good break from the rigors of historical sightseeing. I would recommend this tour, led by Julio, to see the countryside and to taste some of their lovely wine production.

Like most of Tuscany the scenery is outstanding while travelling to Greve. The 2 wineries we visited produce some very nice chianti wines which we sampled with great delight. You are offered 3 types of wine ranging in quality and age which you can purchase at the end of the visit. Our tour guide was very friendly and helpful. This was a perfect tour for my wife and I as it was a half day starting in the afternoon so no need for an early rise. I would recommend this trip

This wine tour lived up to my expectations. Both winery experiences were great, and we were taken to two completely different winerys. One more a larger business and the other smaller more family oriented. A great experience, and the air-conditioned bus ride through the scenic Tuscan countryside was far beyond beautiful.

Very enjoyable tour! We visited two completely different wineries on the tour and got to sample various wines, oils and vinegars that were accompanied by some traditional Italian snacks.

I would 100 recommend this tour! This is a must do in Florence. First off, very easy finding the group, amazing coach bus ride through the mountains - truly incredible views and a chance to escape the hustle of Florence and the heat! The owners of the two different vineyards were spectacular! Very passionate about their wine and gave us great information on the wine making process. The wine and snacks that we had were delicious and very reasonably priced that we even bought a bottle from one of them. We ended the tour in Greve, a cute town known for Chianti, where we were able to enjoy one more drink by ourselves and walk around a bit before heading back down the breathtaking views of Tuscany to the city.

This tour is a must for wine lovers. My husband and I went while on our honeymoon. We visited a small winery amazing views, delicious snacks, wine and cheese and a large winery so we could experience both sides. We purchase wine from both! This tour was a little shorter which was great because we were able to relax and enjoy without spending the whole day trekking around and feeling exhausted after. We came back with some wine that we will save for our 1st anniversary!

I would highly recommend this tour. It was great for the price! We visited two wineries, which only had our group at them. We learned about the process of making Chianti wine and the different classifications the wine can have in addition to tasting 6 wines. We ended the day in a cute, small town, where my friend and I bought gelato. The drive through the Tuscan countryside to and from the tastings was beautiful!

If you don't plan on renting a car to drive to Chianti or taking public transportation here, I highly recommend this tour. The first stop at the small local winery was great. We tasted three samples along with snacks. We had time to purchase wine at the end or explore for a few minutes. We then took a 10 minute ride to Greve, an adorable small town with cute little shops. We picked up some seasonings for friends who came a few years back and stopped in another little shop for a souvenier. We then got back on the bus for a very short ride to the big winery which you can get this wine in the US and it was nice too. I enjoyed the small local winery better, but it was interesting to see how the larger winery operates. Again, there was time for purchasing and then we headed back to Florence Train Station.

Great tour with VERY accommodating guide and driver. I had notified viator of my propensity for motion sickness and was most impressed that both driver and guide were aware AND had held the front seat for me. Would recommend this tour; scenery is beautiful.

Recommended by a friend and this was an EXCELLENT tour. Nice contrast between small family run winery and large commercial winery. Learned so much about Italian wine -- the specialized grapes and why Chianti Classico is so good. Our stop in Greve exceeded our expectations -- wonderful, small, quaint village -- I would recommend visiting the butcher shop and ordering plate of salami/cheese, also check out the secret cheese cellar.

Great tour of two very different wineries! The first was a beautiful family-owned estate, while the second was a large-scale operation. There were also affordable options for purchasing bottles.

The tour was wonderful! Greve in Chianti is the perfect village and a great break in-between the two wineries. We got a bit lost in Florence on the way to meet the group and they were kind enough to wait for us. Great value for the price!

This is an excellent tour to the Tuscan countryside. Pictures you may have seen hold no comparison to the real thing. The wineries and guides were great. We really enjoyed this tour.
