This tour was the highlight of our trip to Venice!! It was great to take a day and take in the country side.
Awesome tour, guide Super Mario was great, engaging, funny very accommodating. They stored our luggage on the bus, we have a seeing eye dog which they accomodated, the winery's were great, the right amount of time at each one, time for the city stop was a little to short.
Our guide was great and the wineries amazing. We bought one case of wine from each winery we visited, the wines were so good.
A great time! Everything went smoothly and on time and we were able to try seven different wines from two wineries.
This tour was exactly what we wanted. We only had a half day to experience Tuscany and we succeeded with this trip. You get enough vineyard time and scenery while driving so that you can get back to Florence in time for a dinner reservation! If you want a quick Tuscany fix from Florence, pick this!
A great non forgotten axperience. Anyone who loves the view and nature must visit this wonderful place. Great wine, and great hospitality
The wine tour was really fun! Visiting the little towns along the way was really great.
What a wonderful experience to see different aspects of both small and large wineries. We had our 10 year old with us, as she is interested in vineyards and how wine is made, the smaller winery gave her juice to make her feel included in the tasting. What a great experience for our whole family.
My classmate and I had a wonderful time. If you want a relaxing afternoon outside the city, enjoying the hills of Tuscany, I highly recommend this trip.
This tour was very nice. The tour was very informative about wine. The only thing to take note of was that the tour is given in both English and Spanish at the same time. It takes up a little bit of time hearing everything repeated again but I didn't mind it too much.
Such a nice tour . Our tour guide was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable and upbeat.
This tour was great! Our guide was a very sweet gal and really took her time with the non- speaking English guests. She spoke several languages and was very complete in translation of the step by step tour. It was very lovely and the guides at the 2 wineries were great and friendly as well...would have loved to spend more time in the town of Greve..a bit short visit only 40 minutes...but still great!
The family vineyard and the small town of Greve were the highlights of the trip. Not the same for the Santa Margherita warehouse, which is a huge consolidator. But, despite of that, the reception was excellent, as the information of the Chianti wines. This is a tour I would recommend as a must when in Tuscany
Very nice trip, the bus was on time and the guide was on time. The vineyard is amazing.
Trip was nice but felt a bit too short as we had to rush a bit through.
First vinery was perfect, great presentation, lovely vines. Taste of 4 vines.
Second vinery also good, presentation not as good, vine very nice. Taste of 3 vines.
Visit of village was more than short, just 10-15min.
I'm not a red wine person but the scenery was very nice. The bus was also very comfortable.
The tour was great!
Not too long and got to taste 7 different kinds of Chianti wine.
Only reservation would be to give more time at the local village square we stopped at
We found this tour to be wonderful. Each location we stopped at was beautiful and the wine tasting excellent. The different winery owners were gracious and professional. Had enough time at each as well as in the town of Greve. Gave this tour 4 stars because even though the guide was informative we signed up for an English tour and everyone on the tour was asked if he could do tour in English, they agreed. However, he focused on a small number of German tourist so that he could show off his German and joke with them. Boring for the rest of us. Plus, it was like he was using the tour to polish his comedy routine. And, he was very flirty with the young women. Regardless, the tour was worth it.
Wish we would of had more time at each place! It was a great time!
It was a fantastic experience with a great driver and a fantastic tourguide!
This tour was good. The wine we tasted was great and the Chianti region is wonderful. However, the group size is very large and I wish my husband and I had done a smaller group and possibly just 1 winery. I originally wanted to do visit 2 wineries thinking that we would get to taste test a more variety of wine, which is true. However, the trade off of that is that you don't get to spend much time at the winery learning about the process and talking with the staff. I had hoped to learn more about how to taste the wine and more information on the wine I was tasting, but there was none of that. Not as educational as I had hoped.
Everyone was prompt and cordial and the drive was very pretty. I would have gladly paid more to actually get a larger taste of each wine. They were so small. The first winery was much more pleasant as we could sit and actually understand what was being said.
The tour was ok,check in process is chaotic. You meet on the burger king terrace. It was disorganized as there were multiple tours, some people had pre paid some had not. The wineries included a small family owned and a bigger factory style. 3 small samples at each place. Lots of people on the bus.
