Your tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll meet up with your guide and hop aboard a minivan set out for the hillside. Watch the scenery out of the windows switch from bustling city life to dense forests, vineyards and olive groves.

Arrive at the stables after 45 minutes and get acquainted with your horse with a safety and orientation session. No previous riding experience is necessary for this tour, and riders of all skill levels are welcome.

Strap on your provided riding hat and head out into the open fields of the Chianti countryside with your guide. Take in the fresh air and stunning landscape as you gallop through open fields and forested trails.

A great tour... Eliseo our guide for the day was wonderful and fun to be around. He was also very knowledgeable about the local area. The women that led the trail ride spoke between themselves almost the entire ride but the beautiful views made up for that.

This was an amazing tour!!! I had been to Florence 4 times before and wanted to see things outside the city. The horse back riding was nice. Our tour guide wasn't allowed to go with us so the gals that took us did not speak english very well. In fact, they spoke to each other in Italian during most of our ride. They took us to see olive trees and through a vineyard. The scenery was great and the horse seemed really nice - I hadn't been on a horse in over 10 years!! I don't like a lot of wines so I tried a couple and then called it quits. The lunch was really nice. Our tour guide was wonderful - Daniella - thanks

Simone our guide was fantastic. As he had a degree in viniculture, we was great in sharing his knowledge about the Chianti area and the winemaking of the region. After the ride, we had a lovely wine tasting at an organic self sufficient farm, and then onto lunch at a former winery. Overall a great day out and well worth it.

This tour was amazing! I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. The horseback riding was peaceful and the most beautiful views of Chianti. Wine was fantastic and so was the food (my favorite from all Italy). Eliseo, our tour guide, really made the expierence complete. He was awesome!

Enjoyed the horseback riding. Three guides were provided, one at the front of the line, one in the middle, and one at the end. The trail took us along the side of some grape vineyards and then through some olive orchards. There was a section where the trail took us up a hill, but as a first time rider, I felt very safe with the guides coaching us along the way. Recommend the morning ride as it gets quite warm. The only thing missing was an opportunity to take photos of the beautiful views during the ride. Next stop was at an organic chianti producer. Beautiful views. If it were up to me, Id eliminate this piece in favor of more time at the stables or at lunch. End of the trip was lunch at a castle. The food was absolutely awesome, simple foods but sooo good. Got to sample a number of olive oils and balsamic vineyards. Wonderful setting. Our guide Valerio was excellent.

I want to take this tour every day. The tour guides were amazing and helpful, the horses were beautiful, and the views were out of this world. Some of the best parts were just drinking wine and having great conversations with the group and guide. And dinner was just fantastic. Absolutely loved it!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on this tour with our guide, Serena. We met the group 5 total, plus our guide at the tour office, easy to find. We took a beautiful van ride up to the Chianti region to the horse ranch, and rode for about an hour. Everyone was very fun, professional, and helped put my first-time-horseback-riding boyfriend at ease. The ride had amazing views, and the horses were all friendly and easy to ride. Serena took us to a cute little vineyard to describe the wine-making process. She is incredibly knowledgable - a sommelier who really knows her stuff! Next, we went to the castle where we were treated to a delicious home-cooked meal and wine tastings from the vineyards we had visited. Overall an excellent experience, and one of our favorite excursions of the trip! I can't recommend Serena and this tour enough :
