Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Pisa Half-Day Trip from Florence Including Skip-the-Line Leaning Tower of Pisa Ticket. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
It was raining so the bus ride was interesting. Roads were flooded and much of the fields near Pisa were flooded. The guide on the bus would tell you about the areas you are passing so you get a tour of Tuscany as well. But it had stopped raining as soon as we got off the bus. Once you get to miracle park, you are amazed at how large the monuments are. You are met by another tour guide who will explain each building in a short tour. I highly recommend going to the top of the tower. Its about half the climb of St. Peter's Basilica, so its not so bad. After our tour the guide recommended a great restaurant to eat in Florence. So good! The best address on google maps for the meeting spot is: Piazza dell'Unità Italiana, 1, Florence, 50123 Italy. Just meet on the SW corner of that building.
Great trip. You only need half a day as not much else to do in Pisa.
A perfect afternoon filler tour. We also did the 'climb' which was great fun.
Love this tour! Guide with a great sense of humour and did not feel he needed to give us every fact available on the Pisa. If going to the area the tour up the tour is a must, very strange being on an sloping floor and even stranger when up the top!
We were picked up on time at a very easy location to find near the main train station and bus lines. Our tour guide was fantastic and provided a ton of interesting facts during the drive to Pisa. Once there, we were set up with another tour guide who was a local and walked us throughout the town. We had plenty of time to get back to the tower and do the climb up. It was so cool! Great views and pictures! We wish that we had another 30 minutes to walk through the cathedral and baptistry, but overall, it was still great!
Excellent tour. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Our tour guide was outstanding and really took good care of us.
WE enjoyed it very much, the only problem not enough time to see the Basilica if you are climbing the tower
What a interesting and fantastic place tour was good but a bit rushed like most tours.
Its a must do on any holiday in Italy.
I suggest stay in Pisa as it has so much to see

My favorite tour in Italy. We got picked up in a luxury motor coach and we rested. We needed the rest to go up the 298 steps of Pisa. No lines, no hassle.
Viator was the perfect way to do this tour as we only had a one and a half day to tour Florence and Pisa. We met at a designated location and left Florence by bus to Pisa. The bus drive thrugh scenic tuscany was a tour by itself and the bus tour guide shared the history and places as we drove by. Outside Piazza Dei Miracoli we met our local guide Alessia, who was very knowledgeable and related the history of the Piazza, Leaning Tower, and the town itself. Before we climed the tower, she led us on a tour through the small town sharing its history as well. The climb up the tower is a must and the view from the top is breathtaking! I highly recommend this tour and will save you a lot of travel time. This is definitely the way to go.

The tour was very well done; luxury buses, knowledgeable guides and highly organized. Pisa was so much more than I thought it would be and I thank Viator for that.
Excellent Tour !!! Definitely worth the climb up the Tower of Pisa !!! Do make reservations !!
This tower and the Cathedral are must sees. If you have looked at pictures only, then seeing the real thing will give you memories you'll never forget. Go early in the AM to climb the tower for by afternoon tickets are all sold out or better yet purchase the tickets to climb the tower online. Great tour to enjoy.
