You cover a lot of territory and see some wonderful views of Tuscany. It was especially nice to visit the picturesque little town of San Gimignano where we bought some leather (discount because of our guide). There were about 60 people on the bus so there is a lot of crowd management to be done, and therer is always someone late for each rendezvous spot. So you spend a fair amount of time trying not to be late and waiting for someone else who is.

Our bus had problems, so they did provide another bus, but we left late and got home early. Felt rushed all day, not getting enough time at any of the stops. A lot of extra walking, as we had to walk a good distance from the bus just to reach the sites we were seeing, then additional walking through the towns. If you have the time, I recommend splitting up your tour of Tuscany, as trying to see Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa in the same day was exhausting and we did not have enough time at any of the stops. Also there are no bathrooms on the bus, so taking time for a big group to use restrooms was also a problem.

Lots of countryside but very rushed. Lunch at vineyard was very disappointing and awful. I think you can with effort find much better local options. The country side is wonderful from Florence. Lots of walking up and down hills so be prepared. Guide was adequate but not really friendly.

The guide, Julia, was absolutely wonderful. I have never had a guide that was better. She was informative, engaged, and so incredibly friendly with all the tourists. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. The problem was the bus driver, Raul. Everybody on board was terrified. He was speeding so much that he made a 2 hour section of the journey in 1 hour. He was taking curves at a high rate of speed and the bus seemed to be leaning. We kept expecting the bus to flip over. It was absolutely terrifying. One of our party said something to Julia and then I saw somebody else complaining to her. So on the last leg of the journey he finally slowed down. The drivers need to understand how something like that takes away from the enjoyment of the day. Had it not been for him, this tour would have gotten a 5 star.

Too much like a forced march than a walk.
San Gimignano is a great example. We got off the bus and were given 1 hour to return. We were to charge up the hill and into the city gates, march to the town square, buy some of the best Gelato in Italy, and charge back to the bus. No time for visiting the shops or enjoying the history of the town. San Gimignano is an historic town and deserves 2-3 hours in the city to properly appreciate what is there. One hour, which includes the 15-20 minute fast march each way, is ridiculous. It was hot we were exhausted it wasnt an enjoyable or educational experience.
The tour would have been much improved if the tour companies negotiate with the cities for a place to drop people off closer and/or a tram to shuttle people from the bus drop to the entrance to the city. This was the case in all three cities we visited. In Pisa there was a tram to take people from the bus drop to the tower/church but WE DIDN'T USE IT!
Some people got lost in Siena and were late returning to the meeting point. The information center has a nice map to help with navigating the warren of streets. The guide should have passed out maps on the bus.
These three cities are beautiful and the chance to see them in one day is a fantastic opportunity. But an hour to see each is crazy, especially with a 15 minute walk just to get to each one. The idea is great the implementation needs work.

I could not say enough good things about this tour. It lasted 12 hours, 8am to 8 pm, which allowed us to have enough time to explore. Our tour guide was Guilio and driver Raul. We had a different tour guide in Siena, but I do not remember her name. All of them were very very knowledgeable, informative, polite and pleasant!! I learned so much on this tour, I highly recommend it. Thank you!!!

OMG, we loved this tour. Constantine was the best! He was funny and very helpful, full of information. I would totally recommend this trip especially if you are fortunate enough to have Constantine as your guide! You will not be disappointed.

The sites were great, and it was a very comfortable bus to travel in. The bus parked very far from the sites which might not have been there fault, but was also parked very far from the original meeting point for some reason. Tour guide was sweet and positive, but his jokes were not understandable because of the language issue, and we were very disappointed to hear so little about the rich history of these places. Even the Sienna guide gave a very spotty overview and focused more on anecdotes and light info. The lunch was great. If you're looking for a light day trip to these amazing sites and don't want to think too much, this is the tour for you.

First. Be very careful when you book the same trip for several parties with you using different credit card you may think you are on the same tour but you will find out they try to split you when you get there. This was the only bad taste I got from the tour our guide was unfriendly and not willing to help when she clearly saw me with my two teenagers wanting to split one of them from me because I used a different credit card to book one of my girls. Once this ordeal was over because I refused to take a split tour and by the way there were room on the bus which she refused to check at first. The tour itself was enjoyable a full day of spectacular views or just him winetasting and delicious lunch and of course the Pisa!

Siena was amazing!!!! Wish we'd had more time there. San Gimignano was also beautiful and the winery where we had lunch was beautiful and the perfect Tuscan setting. The wine was delicious, the food, however left something to be desired. The meal was some cured meats/cheeses to start, followed by pasta bolognese and tiny fig pastry to be shared among the table for dessert. Each course was accompanied by a wine tasting which was tasty. Pisa is one of those you have to see it at least once, but if you've seen it before, there isn't a need to go back.

Our tour guide Costa was great! Full of information, tried to give us tips along the way, and would even share things we were seeing from the bus. Kudos to him for a job well done.
