Traveler Tips

Also, if you want to sit with your family on the large tour bus, you may want to arrive super, SUPER early.
Also there are no bathrooms on the bus, so taking time for a big group to use restrooms was also a problem.

Fantastic side trip from Florence
Sharon_K, Nov 2022
This was a wonderful tour allowing you to see the highlights of these towns. Our tour guide, Elisabeth, was friendly and informative. She explained the history of the towns we visited and was accommodating to the travelers in the bus. It was a full 12 hour day but well worth it! These towns are beautiful and rich in history, character, and breathtaking views! Definitely see the cathedral in Sienna because it is astonishing! It’s a must do side trip from Florence!
Great experience
Victoria_C, Nov 2022
This was a great way to see these different towns that you might otherwise miss. The gelato in San Gimignano was amazing. Siena was beautiful and the tour guide there gave a really go description of the town's history, buildings and the horse races.
Great day seeing Tuscany
Stacy_H, Nov 2022
What a great day. We were a little worried about how long the tour was but all of us agreed it went by so fast. Great way to see Rome. The only thing I may have changed is less time at PISA and more time somewhere else. Pisa was closed when we got there so not much to do other than take pictures. Overall a great day
Pisa in the dark with full bladder and dehydration
Stephanie_j, Nov 2022
Pisa is the final stop- so it’s dark when you arrive. No way to get the classic Pisa photo. There are bathrooms on the bus but they won’t let you use them because of “Covid”. We are all packed in a bus but not using the bathroom is going to save us from Covid? They don’t allow any food or drink on the bus. We had a pregnant person and no water or bathrooms was unacceptable.

Danella_M, Nov 2022
Roberto was out of my mind boring. He would repeat himself over, and over, and hey... OVER again. The tour itself was great actually. My favorite part was Pisa. A lot of people are saying that they reached Pisa at dark. I went in November, guys, ok? We reached the tower around 5 pm and pictures were great. Yes, it was dark but not night dark. Don't complain.
Bus trip in Italy
jodiarchibald, Nov 2022
We were a group of five (5) and wouldn't have been able to cover the amount of ground that we did on the trip. As always, one wishes for more time in each location, but we appreciated not having to drive and for the most part had enough time in the places we stopped at. The lunch was well prepared in a lovely location, but it was disguised as a wine tasting to sell their products. This was not a negative but should be listed in the explanation.

Abby_G, Nov 2022
Fun to see 3 different places in one day! Wish we had a bit more time in San gimignano but overall a good tour and pretty close to what the description said. Only thing was that our bus broke down before we even started so our tour was delayed from the start making our lunch feel very rushed. Overall a fun trip even though it was pouring rain the whole day.
Very long day with an uncaring tour guide
Gary_Q, Nov 2022
This was a disappointing tour as I booked it mainly to see Pisa not really knowing much about Sienna or SAN Gimignano. We only had 1hr 15m at Pisa, but spent 2 hours at San Gimignano which is a glorified media Evan shopping village. People booking this tour should be aware that they park the bus about 2.5 kms from Pisa and then you have to walk like a school group there and back. The same at San Gimignano. The lunch at the winery in Sienna was great. The winery host was great, wine tasting was generous and the food was delicious. After leaving the winery a woman on the bus asked if she could quickly go back as she forgot her sunglasses. Sarah our guide reluctantly let her off and admittedly the bus was parked in the middle of the road she called back to her travel companion after five minutes “where is she?” she said “we have to leave, we’re leaving” her friend had to plead with her to wait, the woman came running back to the bus, flustered and said she didn’t find them. Sarah then proceeded to apologise to the bus that this would unfortunately cut into our time at San Gimignano and basically publicly humiliated the woman to the rest of the bus. I think this was handled terribly by the guide, if it was such an issue she should have said “I’m sorry madam, but we can’t let you off the bus”. She then threatened the entire bus when we arrived at San Gimignano that she would not be waiting for anyone not back at the meeting point past the agreed meeting time of 6.20. We all headed off as a group after the agreed meeting time back to the bus. My wife and I were taking up the rear due to my wife relying on a walking stick. Sarah strides off, while you are responsible to keep up with very poor street lighting. Then from the rear, a young couple from Singapore who we sat with at lunch caught up with us. They were travelling with a young baby, a nine year old and a four year old. He had to take one of the kids to the toilet and she had left them behind to fend for themselves. I think it’s time Sarah found a new career as this is not caring for your tour group. On the way back to Florence, another mother travelling with a young child needed to stop as the child needed to use the toilet. Again she said to her “Five minutes only!” You shouldn’t have to plead with your tour guide. The woman dutifully reappeared after five minutes. Again Sarah apologised to the bus, I don’t think the bus would have objected to allowing a two year old to have an emergency toilet break. For the remaining trip Sarah and Boris were laughing and talking animatedly in Italian and then had the nerve to say any tips would be gratefully appreciated so they could buy a small coffee! The bus was full of Americans who come from a tipping culture. The Americans sitting near us dutifully pulled out 40 euros, my wife and I are Australian and don’t come from a tipping culture but due to the above I was far from impressed with how she handled any little blimps in her schedule. We also had to again walk 1.5 km back to our meeting point at the train station which luckily for us was only a further 800m to our hotel room. So if you don’t want to walk several kms to and from your bus several times during the day, if you don’t want a guide who is more than happy to abandon you an hour from Florence and if you want to look at Pisa at your leisure and not have five minutes to hurriedly buy souvenirs, maybe catch a local train and do it yourself. Sarah joked if you weren’t happy with the tour her name was Susan. Good one Susan.
Lovely day trip in Florence
Naresh_B, Nov 2022
Our experience was superb. The guide and the driver were spot on time, trip started and ended on time. Boris and Sara were our guide and driver made our trip pretty fun, interesting and took us to all the places describing them. Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano were beautiful and our lunch at TT vineyard with wine tasting was a great experience with some nice wine and pasta. I definitely recommend ciaoflorence 👍🏽
Great day tour
Catherine_P, Nov 2022
Great tour guide Anna! Very fluent in many languages! We felt very informed coming from US and speaking only English. Only negative comment is that the lunch host only spoke Italian to the group. The wine tasting and pairings were lost on us. Seems like we missed a lot of fun stories.
Very much worth the money
Stacia_A, Nov 2022
This was a great tour. Our whole family enjoyed the day. Shopping, food, history and beautiful sights to be seen!
Perfect trip
Yovka_T, Nov 2022
Amazing trip,Amazing wine tasting and lunch and amazing people. Elizabeth and Boris are the best at what they do. They are just two gorgeous human beings ❤️ Never been on a more entertaining ,educational and romantic trip at the same time. Wine tasting was the most incredible experience we ever had. Learn a lot about wine Make sure you buy yourself some Tenuta Torciano wine.Well worth the money Everything went smoothly and we were back in Florence on time. We miss the whole experience already Definitely will book again ,when back in Florence in the future ♥️
Constantino was an amazing guide.
John_P, Nov 2022
All of the venues were interesting and historic and having the downtime on the bus made a long day more tolerable
A good tour
Mark_B, Nov 2022
The Duomo in Siena and the town of San Gimignano were highlights, however we didn't have enough time in each place. By the time we got to Pisa which was the last stop, the Cathedral was closing and there wasn't enough time to climb the leaning tower. Our guide Roberto was very good however and was very informative

Too much in one day, rushed
Tim_B, Nov 2022
Trip was too rushed, less than an hour in both San Gimignano and Pisa. The Siena guided tour including the cathedral was nice but only had a few minutes of free time. Plus the ride to Pisa was nauseating. Plus it got dark as soon as we got to Pisa, so.... Roberto our guide and Marco the driver were great though.

It was our first time in Italy and we learned so much about Tuscany in one day. All three cities were charming in their own way.
Wonderful Experience

Our tour guide, Constantine was an amazing tour guide!! He was funny, kind and so knowledgeable! Just wish the sick people would have stayed home or worn a mask! But that had nothing to do with the cities and guide!
