Make your own way to the centrally located office to meet your professional chef-guide before your afternoon or evening tour starts.

Transfer by minibus to a private estate situated in the hills above Florence. Start your culinary experience with a tasting of a traditional focaccia appetizer accompanied by a glass of Chianti wine. Soak in views of the rolling hills as your instructor shares the backstory of Italy's famous foods: pizza and gelato.

Next your chef-instructor shows you how to make pizza dough, and explains regional variations. After preparing the dough, select the topping ingredients that you like from the assortment of fresh vegetables harvested from the estate gardens. Your pizza is then baked traditional-style in the wood oven. When ready, sit down to enjoy your pizza accompanied by wine or beer.

For dessert, learn to make a creamy gelato that can be accompanied by toppings and sauces. Your instructor provides recipes for the pizza and gelato so that you can make them at home.

Traveler Tips

The entire class is on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside, so don't forget a camera!
There is a lot of stairs and cobble roads but every step is worth it!
Winter cold is no problem at all, as it is all done indoors (except of course for the wood fire oven).

Best pizza in Italy!!!
Narelle_L, Oct 2022
The highlight of our trip to Florence and the best pizza we had in Italy! This experience is amazing, we did this with our kids (10,12) and it was the most memorable part of our trip. Thomas, Feliciano and Max the chef’s make it such fun and are overall nice people. Please go this when you go to Florence with kids you won’t regret it!

This was such a great experience! I loved getting to see the Florence countryside and learn their tips on how to make pizza and gelato! The time went by fast as they kept us busy, was so much fun!!

The best Florence cooking class!! Chris, Luigi, and Thomas made this a truly unforgettable experience! The pizza and gelato were great, but learning from such knowledgeable and fun individuals and getting to meet other travelers is what really made the experience memorable. And it was a very short and easy trip from Florence to the farmhouse. Definitely make this one of your nighttime activities while in Florence!
Pizza experience

Max, Thomas and Arla were such great hosts. Had such good fun learning how to make authentic Italian food in such a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive outside of Florence and lasted 4.5 hours which was the perfect amount of time for an experience. We were given drinks often and had many activities throughout the experience, I highly recommend! This was a highlight to our trip in Florence and would return again :)
We LOVED this!!!

We had the most amazing time. This is a must do if in Florence. The estate is gorgeous, the set-up is perfect, and you cannot top the staff. Luca is the BEST! We love you Luca! I just wish we had been there during the summer when the weather was warmer and we could pick fresh ingredients from the garden.
Great cooking class!

This class was great. It was in a beauty farm house right outside of Florence. The instructors were great and entertaining. The gelato was delicious and the pizza we made was some of the best we had in Italy! The only downside was that it was a big group (25ish people). It would have been nice as a smaller group since there was a decent amount of waiting around time. Other than that I would definitely recommend the class!
An absolute must do in Florence!!

What a trip! From the Mercedes bus pick up, to the beautiful Tuscany estate setting, to the entertaining and incredibly skilled & knowledgeable instructors, this was the highlight of our time in Florence!! We ate well, made friends, laughed, learned, and have memories for a lifetime! This is a must-do!!
Memorable Experience

Even though there was a little rain, this class was so fun! Max was our gelato instructor and gave the lesson with so much entusiasm. For the gelato, we worked in groups of two to create the same flavor. But once all the gelatos were done, we were able to taste a little of everyone's creations. Thomas and Tiziano were our pizza intructors. They made the class fun with jokes as well as including us in making the pizza sauce. They are very easy going and helped us through the whole pizza making process. After we made our pizza, we ate it and drank wine while enjoying the company of people from different parts of the world. Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Florence.
Amazing! A Florence must-do

A trip highlight! There were so many components that made this great - gorgeous views (you felt like you were in the countryside but it was just a short bus ride from Florence), entertaining instructors (Chris was fantastic, and our pizza instructors kept us laughing all evening), and fabulous food. My children, ages 10 and 12, absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!
Beautiful setting, delicious food
DeeDee_M, Oct 2022
Loved this tour! Only 10 minutes outside Florence, the gorgeous farmhouse & surrounding countryside was the perfect place for a night of pizza & gelato making. We were greeted by Angelina, the gelato chef. After receiving an informative lesson, we all chose our favorite flavors to make. Next, the pizza lesson began. The chefs were entertaining and knowledgeable. Each of us made our own ball of dough to make our individual pizzas. They taught us the proper method for making our own sauce, then stretching, forming, and tossing the crust. After adding our toppings, each pizza went into the brick oven & came out in just seconds, cooked to perfection. After devouring our creations, we ended the night by sampling all the gelato flavors. The only down side for me was the uneven gravel walkway and the steep steps that we had to maneuver in & out. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and even the kids in the class seemed to enjoy it!

This class was awesome! The teachers were excellent and entertaining and the food was great. It was a beautiful setting and easy to find the meeting point. I’m really glad I got to go to this class and the pizza was excellent. Also really loved the cantaloupe and peach gelato! Definitely recommend for a fun but relaxing time in Florence.
Great mom and daughter activity!

We were recommended by family to take the class, and we didn’t regret. Such a beautiful experience with great hosts! Most memorable part of our trip to Florence! Plan for a 5 hour excursion…we didn’t know that until we were on our way to the bus stop

Food was delicious and...
Danielle_D, Oct 2022
Food was delicious and our hosts were wonderful, knowledgeable and entertaining. The only downfall was the party was too big, the tour was 25 people and was just entirely too big. Half would of made a more intimate experience and a bit more enjoying
Venue worth price
Debbie_W, Sep 2022
Great experience at UNBELIEVABLE venue! Recommend going early in your trip to Florence. Learned a lot about gelato and pizza. Both delicious for dinner. Plenty of wine. Easy mini bus ride into the hills.

The best Pizza and Gelato in Italy!!
Robert_K, Sep 2022
Great fun! A must do if you are in Florence. The whole experience is so well choreographed that there isn’t a moment that you are not enjoying a glass of wine, cooking, eating pizza or finishing the experience with the best gelato you have ever had. The chefs are funny and enthusiastic. The location is breathtaking!
