A long day but worth every minute of it. These towns are very different to Florence or Rome, so, well worth seeing for their wonderful history and beauty. We enjoyed the delicious gelato in San Gimignano and I bought, what I consider to be the best there is Panforte which was also unbelievably delicious. We took the option of having the recommended lunch in Siena and could not fault it. The food was delicious and so much of it. I think it was only 12 euro and would definitely recommend it. The cathedral in Siena was beautiful and it is lovely to walk through the streets of the town. Going by coach is the easiest way to do the trip in a day, but I would have loved a little more time in both Siena and San Gimignano. Even though it was winter, the scenery was beautiful.
Long day but so worth it, a tour not to be missed. Mario was wonderful and very informative.
We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful Tuscany and plenty of time to go around the towns.
This was a great way to see a few of the towns around Tuscany. Plenty of free time to explore.
We really enjoyed the trip and found Julie was extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately the mistral winds made it very uncomfortably freezing cold.
Fabulous way to see and experience some of the amazing Tuscan beauty and charm in a short space of time. While a long day we left at 845am and got back about 730pm, the balance of guided tour including in Siena, and on the bus, free time in Siena, Monteriggoni, and San Gimignano , and the absolutely fabulous guided wine, vin santo and olive oil tasting with snacks at the winery Torciano made this a highlight of my holiday in Italy. Our guide Lucia was absolutely fabulous. Personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. I can't recommend this more highly. Great value for money!
Long day but so worth it. Tuscany countryside is beautiful no matter what time of year you go. Our guide Mario was so funny and informative.
Though little expensive, the trip was Amazing. Me, my husband and our daughter enjoyed every bit of it. The local guide at Siena was very pleasant and gave us in depth knowledge about the region, culture, tradition etc. and this made the visit more enjoyable. The cathedral of Siena was breath-taking. San Gimgnano is a unique place not to be missed. Chianti Wine tasting was a good experience as well. The bus was very comfortable and the tour was well organized. This tour requires lot of walking with slopping path ways in many areas. Will recommend to anybody visiting Florence.
This tour was fantastic ,we had a wonderful day exploring the Beautiful Tuscany .The wine tasting was alot of fun Thankyou
The guide was wonderful and the pace was great. We packed a lot of things into one day. The gelato and the wine tasting were definite highlights.
Super Mario is a super tour guide!! He's a man of many languages and my style of humor - the bus ride will not be boring. If you're really hoping to see some very old medieval structures or you're an Assassin's Creed fan.., you're in for more than you can imagine. We traveled throughout most of Italy, and this was one of the best days in the country. The tour group is larger, but splits up into three groups in Siena - the only place you really need a guided walk. In Monteriggioni, bring some extra euro to climb the castle walls for a unique view of Tuscany! Also, no matter HOW long that line for gelato is in San Gimignano, you can't pass up the best gelato in existence. It's amazing. Thank you for everything, Super Mario!
