Siena and San Gimignano were amazing. Alice was a great tour guide and she was very informative. She even recommended a lot of great restaurants and shops to check out once the tour was over. Highly Recommend!!

We had a wonderful day touring Siena and the beautiful San Gimignano with Stefano and Alice. In addition, the lunch at the winery was delicious!! I would highly recommend this tour. Alice was a very attentive and knowledgeable guide. We especially loved the walking tour of each city and the addition of the history of each site that Alice provided. The intact Medieval city of San Gimignano was unforgettable.

Wonderful day and would highly recommend. Alice and Alessandro were excellent hosts for the day and despite the thunderstorms and hailstones that accompanied us, they made it a superb day.
Siena was beautiful and San Gimignano breathtaking. Lunch and wine tasting was very enjoyable and as there was only 6 of us on the trip, an ideal opportunity for us to get to know each other.

It was a cold March day for our tour, and it had snowed in Tuscany the days before, so we were unsure as to what to expect from the tour. We arrived at the Florence train station, and Stefano and Alyse were there to meet us. It turned out that we were the only ones who hadn't cancelled, so we received a private driver and tour guide for the whole day. Both were great, entertaining and informative. While some of the hills of the two towns were challenging in the slush, the sights were amazing. The lunch and wine tasting at the Marronaia winery was fantastic -- again, just for the two of us, so 6 bottles of wine paired with the locally-sourced food, with a personal explanation of each vintage by a son of the owners. By the end of the trip, it felt like Stefano and Alyse were our friends from college, there to share a day in the countryside with us. Can't rate it high enough.

I am very late in writing this review we took the tour in Late November 2016. I will say that this tour made for one of the best days in my life! I was in Rome with my 2 children and my daughters fiancé and wanted them to see Florence and the country side so I booked this tour! Wow, what a day, the tour guides in each location were wonderful as was our driver. The best part of our day was our private lunch and wine tasting at the Podere LaMarrona Winery/Olive Groves. We had a very simple lunch with was perfect . The Olive Oil is Fantastic and we imported wine for my daughter's wedding! A day my children and I will ALWAYS remember. It is a bit expensive but SO worth it!

Alex was a great tour guide, so professional, with enthusiasm and knowledge. He was a delight. Siena and San Gimignano were so beautiful, and happily at this time of year, not crowded. We had a good amount of time in each town and our winery tasting and lunch couldn't have been nicer. Very warm and friendly host, and delicious food! We had a great day. A special tour guide was included in Siena who was local and she explained all about the Palio race, and through the stunning Duomo. Highly recommend.

Our driver Alessandro was excellent. He shared local knowledge on the way to Siena and San Gimignano, and made an added stop on the way back so we could see the sunset at Piazzelle Michelangelo. Alessandro also went above and beyond to accommodate my sore knee, dropping me off in alternate areas.

The tour was fantastic! Both our driver and local guide are very friendly and helpful. One of my husband's feet was swollen so it was difficult for him to walk. During the walking tour they looked after us, made lots of stops, made sure we could catch up.

Absolutely loved this tour..... only 8 travelers in a minivan with our guide Francesco who was amazing..... We especially loved the lunch and wine tasting, olive oil tasting .... The pasta was divine and the hospitality of the host whos family has been in the wine, olive oil and balsamic business for many generations was fabulous..... Their home and vineyards are on top of the world with a view of Tuscany that is to die for...... We also especially enjoyed the Medieval village of San Gimignano, the stone towers, which at one time were as many as 70
And now are down to 12. This village is a must see .... Its hard to believe that the churches and homes of the inhabitants are in such perfect condition after all the centuries gone by..... I highly recommend this excursion, and be sure to ask for Francesco, our phenomenal guide.....
