Fantastic all inclusive tour. Everything was on time and varied. San Gimignano was a great experience with a temptation to return. Siena is a beautiful city with a lot of historic culture. The visit to the costume museum was something different to experience, the Church is amazing. Our time in Chianti was very comprehensive, the vineyard was charming as were the family who hosted us. They are very proud of their wines, cheeses, salami, and vinegar. All available for purchase. A full complete day.
It was a wonderful tour even with the bus breaking down. It was remedied in a reasonable about of time. I would recommend it.
Amazing day. We were so lucky as the sun shone and the whole trip was brilliant. It was an early start but so worth it as we saw so much of Tuscany. The hardest part was finding the coach as you have to enter the train station and walk along platform 16 on the right hand side past the palm trees and coffee shop all the way to platform 17 but then walk down a slope that exits the station to find the bus stops. we did a trial run the night before to ensure we knew where we were going :
The trip starts in San Gimigmano for the beautiful views which is about an hour on the coach. This is followed by another hour to Siena . We had a great guide Paulo who lives in Siena and is an expert. we learned all about the horse race and visited the local areas and a church and the outside of the cathedral. He had so much knowledge and his English was excellent. thank you Paulo.
We had lunch here overlooking the sunny square and the town hall. On the way back we ade 2 stops one for wine tasting and one for a coffee/wine before arriving back at the station around 7pm. It was a full day and worth every penny. The viator guide was also really good.
This was our favorite tour while in Italy! All three places visited were interesting and gave us a flavor for the places. The weather was great on this day which also helped. The scenery in the Chianti area was gorgeous.
Although the weather was freezing that day, the tour was excellent! I would highly recommend it!
Great experience. Our tour guide, Stephy, was fluent in four languages: English, Italian, French and Spanish. Her narratives were interesting and she answered all questions. Alessandro, the tour driver was professional and safe. The cities we visited are well worth the visit and we felt the cost was reasonable.
Guide was energetic and awesome. Very knowledgeable and ensured all guests were pleased with tour.
It has been some time since we did this tour but the memories of it are still vivid. A great tour and a wonderful sights to be seen. We were lucky enough to see the amazing floors of Siena cathedral as a bonus bit of serendipity. Wow.
A great day out. Thoroughly recommend if you can spare a day ou when staying in Florence

Great tour! We have an excellent guides...both on the bus and at Siena. Long day, but seemed short because of the interest. Bus rides came just at the correct time for rest and get prepared for our next stop. I highly recommend this tour.
My husband and I really enjoyed this 11-hour day trip which covered a lot of ground and was of excellent value. Tour leader Matteo was knowledgeable and well-spoken. He pointed out many sights/landmarks as we travelled from Florence in a very clean and comfortable coach. Both San Gimignano and Siena are charming and historical towns, wished we had 1-2 more hours in each place. Our visit to Greve and the winery rounded out the day. In hindsight, we would've preferred more time in San Gimignano and Sienna skipping Greve and the winery. We would highly recommend this day trip.

This was a really lovely trip which enabled me to see a lot of Tuscany which is what I wanted. San Gimignano is a breathtaking place to see with all its towers, narrow avenues, beautiful shops. I just wish we could have spent more free time there. Siena was magnificent to see but terribly busy. We had a walking tour which was very helpful with a lovely guide. Just a warning, Siena is very hilly so be prepared. The stop at Greve and the winery was great, it gave you a real taste of the real Tuscany. I have to mention our guide for the day was terrific and very knowledgeable. A great day out and well worth the money.
Had a wonderful day! The tour was very organised and our tour guide Stefanie (sorry if spelt wrong) was great! Got free time in all 3 of the places visited and the walking tour included in Siena was so interesting. The chianti wine tasting topped it all off! Picture perfect setting! Really recommend!
Such a great experience!! Our tour guide was not only informative yet funny and witty. Wished we had more time in San Gimignano could have skipped Greve. The view from the bus of the Tuscany region was worth it alone! You have a tour guide in Sienna-- it was worth it! Had some great stories of the city. The wine tasting at the end was excellent... we purchased a couple of wine bottles very reasonably prices at 8 euros and enjoyed the view of the vineyard. Highly recommend it!
excellent tour, it's a long tour without lunch so be prepared. San Gimignano is charming, beautiful view of the valley. Sienna is bigger, i would stay in Sienna 3-4 nights next time i visit, just to have more time to explore the city and relax. this tour is just offer a taste of Sienna, an excellent introduction. the local tour guide took us through the square, gave us the history of the city, the famous Palio horse race, the tour of the Palio flag tossing history, then we visited the basilica of San Domenico that houses Saint Catherine's relics with the full history of Saint Catherine from the local tour guide. that's all the time we had in Sienna. we have about 1hr 20 minute of free time, i got a quick lunch to go food, not enough time to sit down in a proper restaurant and walked around the cathedral of Sienna - it's a beautiful cathedral, rival the cathedral in Florence. Sienna is definitely the high light of the tour, the city is just beyond beautiful with so much history. Last we visited the charming small town of Greve, had about 30 minutes to relax in the square to enjoy some gelato, then on to the wine tasting. it's a charming vineyard with excellent wine from the Chianti region. i highly recommend this tour.
The tour was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Our only complaint was that the tour was conducted in 3 languages with the use of individual headsets. While portions of the tour were in English only with separate guides we still had to spend some listening to everything being repeated 3 times. No mention of this was listed in the tour description.
This tour was one I've been looking forward to for months and i wasn't disppointed. The drive to our first stop of San Gimignano was beautiful. The bus was comfortable. Eleni who was our tour guide was informative and friendly and happy to answer any questions. Not many questions were asked though as her commentary on the areas visited was comprehensive. I would have liked at least 15 minutes more in San Gimignano though as it was so scenic. Our time in Siena was great and the local tour guide I can't remember her name was also very informativs and passionate about her hometown. Next stop was Greve which I'd been very much looking forward to. It was quaint as I thought it would be. Again, it would have been really good if we could've stayed an extra 15 minutes. The winery at the end of our tour was amazing and we enjoyed the wine tasting with salami and also bread and olive oil. We purchased a bottle of wine as a thank you gift for our airbnb host in Florence. Would recommend this tour- it was a day well spent.

I think our guide name was Elena from Florence...a young woman who spoke French, English and bit of Spanish as well. I rememeber this because she talked non-stop, tirelessly rotating through the various languages and never lost her stride She was a great storyteller, who was able to keep the attention of the tour group. Even when a lady was complaining about how little time we had at some of the locations due to the traffic redirection, our guide remained calm and courteous. I do agree with the lady that we probably could have done without the stop in Greve, and more time in San Gimignano, or Siena instead. We enjoyed the tour and the relaxing wine tasting at the end of the tour.
Maria-Elena who guided the Siena portion of the tour was professional and also told a great story. she even took us in for a tour of the headquarters of one of the 17 districts in Siena.
