We skipped the line and went right into the museum. The tour guide was extremely easy to find. Highly recommend.
Tremendous Gallery, some beautiful paintings and sculpture. Well worth a visit.
Nice to see many original works of art.
This was a self guided tour. We did have a recorded guided headset. Make sure you go with plenty of time to work yourself through all of the halls of the Uffizi. Even after two hours, it was not enough time. Enjoy!
Incredible collection, plan on spending a lot of time here! Roof top bar simply awesome after a long day.

We booked only the skip the line tickets and opted to use the gallerys audio guide for 6 euro. We spent about 2 hours. The exchange of the vouchers for tickets as wel as the skip the line worked as billed. Skip the line in this case means you skip the line to buy a time slot to then get in line at your appropriate time slot. Our time slot began at 9:00AM and it took us about 30 minutes from the time we exchanged the vouchers, stood in line and got to the place to buy audio guides. The audio guide requires leaving one photo ID even if renting for a group. There is also a video guide which can be helpful sit displays a picture of the object. The stairs to the second floor gallery entrance are LONG and there is an elevator. There are not so many places to sit in the gallery and we recommend paying for something to eat or drink and sitting at the coffee shop which has a great view. We have used Viator skip the line many times and find them to be a reliable source.
We were there at 9:00AM. The voucher exchange and the skip the line went well. We spent about 2 hours in the gallery. The audio guide works well and you must leave a photo ID to rent. The stairs to the 2nd floor are LONG but there is an elevator. There are few places to sit so at the coffee shop we highly recommend you pay for something and sit down. The view from the terrace is great.
We were there at 9:00AM and we spent about 2 hours. The exchange of the voucher for the ticket went well as did the skip the line. From the time you get in line to the time you finally enter the gallery takes about 30 minutes. The audio and video guides are picked up after you get inside the first door. You must have a photo ID to leave for the guides. There is an elevator to the gallery entrance on the second floor. Know the stairs to the second floor are LONG. There are not too many places to sit down until one reaches the coffee shop where you must buy something in order to sit down which we highly suggest. We would do this again.
I am so happy that I purchased the skip the line ticket. What that actually means is that you will get a ticket with an appointed time on it for you to enter. It is quite confusing out front with so many tour groups. Our instructions had told us to meet with a CAF guide in front of the Gallery and get tickets from that person. We did so and were able to enter at the appointed time. We were on our own and did not have a guide so saw the things we were interested in and enjoyed other works of art, also. We were there about 1 hour. I highly recommend this ticket!
