Our guide kept all of us fully engaged during the whole tour. She spoke very good English and answered all of our questions.
We actually loved it. It was a great way of tasting things we would have missed if we were on our own.
Valentina, our tour guide, was a lot of fun.
We really enjoyed this tour, it was our favourite of all the tours. The guide, a lady called Valentino had excellent english and she made the tour fun. The places we went were out of this world and the owners of the shops and markets made a huge effort to explain the coffee, wine, olive oil, meats etc to us. The quality of the food, wine and coffee we tasted was to a very high standard. Valentino gave us some great hints and tips for our visit to Florence. We visited all the shops/markets again after her tour as we loved them so much. We would recommend this tour to everyone who loves italian food and drink and we learnt about the city whilst on the tour too. Thank you.
What a fun and entertaining tour, especially for first timers to Florence. We were late for tour, ( because of
lack of parking ) but guide caught us up. Our guide, Angela, was terrific! She was very knowledgeable, very personable, and very accommodating- she made sure everyone in our group of 12 enjoyed all the various stops. A great variety of tastings and experiences. Would highly recommend.
WONDERFUL experience! We took this tour on our first morning in Florence, and it was a great way to get our bearings and a feel for the city.
Christina was a delightful guide. We recommend this tour. It was lots of fun! Eve, SLC
This is a great tour. The food and drink tasted was great and Angela was a superb guide. This is a very worthwhile tour.
This was really a fun tour. We sampled Truffles with mascarone on white bread. It was so delicious. We then learned how to make Italian coffee which my husband and just love by the owner of a coffee shop. We stopped at a wine store where we sampled wine and olive oil along with prociutto ham, cheese, and fruit. We also tasted a dessert wine with a delicious biscotti. The market was awesome. Just seeing all the things that they sell daily was worth it. This tour given by Fredrica was a must do while in Florence. There were many more things that were shown in this tour that I have not mentioned. Fabulous!
Yummmm! This was an amazing tour if you love food. The guide was very familiar with Florence (as she grew up there) and she spoke English very well. There was a good variety of food and wine (espresso, truffles, prosciutto, bruschetta, cheese, olive oils, balsamic and strawberries, gelatto and great wine!). You do quite a bit of walking but get to sit down at most of the stops. This tour is highly recommended.
Highly recommend this unique experience. Fun and educational (and delicious) for our family (2 sons ages 11 and 14)
What a way to be introduced to Florence! We met two different families from America. Our tour guide showed that she cared about our experience.
