Very informative and educational walk from our meeting point to the cooking destination. Our chef, Ilda and her assistant, Guisseppe, did a fabulous job demonstrating and explaining techniques. Highly recommend this cooking class as the pasta, sauces and dessert were fabulous!
Ilda and Daniel were funny and informative and made cooking Italian classics simple and within our grasp. The meal we prepared was delicious and the kitchen was a great atmosphere to learn in. Would recommend for any age!!
Great experience for all ages... We had a blast! My 9 year old son now wants to open a restaurant!
This was the highlight of our trip in Florence. We had an incredible time making pasta, tiramisu, and eating it too! The chefs were great teachers and were very hands-on and fun throughout the process. We even got a book at the end with recipes, things to do in Florence, and where to eat during our trip. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for a half-day cooking class that won't suck up the entire day in Florence, for those visitors only having a select amount of days in this area.
My daughter and I had so much fun in the cooking class. Great tips, but the tips are not in the book with recipes that we received so I wish I had taken notes. The market walk beforehand was interesting, but the real value was in the cooking. There were 18 in our class. It isn't very hands-on, if that is the experience you want you should look at a more private tour group.
A great day out and well worth taking the time to do this. The chefs Ilde and Guiseppe are very entertaining Guiseppe had a quick and dodgy sense of humour, you leave having actually remembering how do stuff. I guess it about the delivery.
This was my favorite part of my trip so far. Instructors (Giuseppe and Paola) were amazing and funny while teaching. They provided great background on the traditional preperation of the dishes. Can and #39;t wait to get home and try it again on my own!
My 26 yr old daughter and I both loved it! There were 20 of us in the class, including 2 young teen boys, and now we can all make our own pasta and tirisu at home! The two chefs made sure to keep the boys interested, and yet help all the wide range of ages and experience in the rest.
I am so happy I took this class! Giuseppe and Davide did an amazing job keeping the morning/afternoon both fun and educational. The tour of the market was interesting and informative, and with Giuseppe giving us tidbits of information on Firenze's history as we walked the city center was an added bonus to the day. The class was of course the highlight! From traditional sauces, to handmade pasta, to the scrumptious tiramisu- it was fun to make and even better to taste! We also got to have a bruschetta tasting, complimented of course with amazing wine! Our chefs kept us laughing the whole time...what a joy to be surrounded by lively italian chefs for the day. I would absolutely recommend this tour for any of those coming to Firenze in any circumstance- if you're looking to break away from the normal walking tours and experience the sites, smells, and taste of Italia!
If you love cooking and Italian food then I highly recommend this class. David and Giuseppe were very nice and made the class fun. We learned a lot and made some delicious food!
My wife and I really loved this cooking class. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who has the time.
This was sooooo much fun! We learned a lot about food, wine, local food, and of course cooking. We will be sure to cook all these at home, especially the tiramisu. There was a great balance of teaching, hands on experience, and then eating what we made. This tour will definitely be one of the highlights of our trip.
So much fun!! We had a blast and ended up booking their pizza and gelato class later on in the evening!
Absolutely worth the money. Great chef who was funny and full of good information. What a nice way to meet others.
Both of my classes--a 6 hour small group and the Pizza and Gelato class--were wonderful! The chefs Daniel, Davide and Guiseppe were organized, knowledgeable, fun. They were thorough in teaching the techniques, science, presentation of each dish. The students were engaged in the class and interested. I would recommend these classes to anyone traveling to Florence! Laura Claverie, New Orleans, USA
It was our first time taking a cooking class anywhere. All 6 of us had a great time! The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. The food was terrific! We plan on taking the pizza/gelato cooking class when we return. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends. GRAZIE!
This was such a fun day, and I highly recommend this small group cooking class! Alex and Daniel make learning about Italian, and specifically Tuscan, cooking fun and exciting. After an educational tour through the central market, we went back to their cooking school to learn how to make different pastas, multiple sauces, and the best tiramisu I have ever had. The wine was fantastic as well! Also, I'm a vegetarian, and they were prepared for that and flexible when they learned another participant was pregnant and couldn't have raw eggs. I will definitely take another class if I'm back in Florence again. Thanks guys!!!!
Absolutely fantastic tour! Daniel was a wonderful and fun chef and was one of my highlights of Italy!
Awesome cooking class!!!!! So much fun, and wine was being poured with no limits! Food was
great , lots of fun! Well worth the money. Give yourself enough time to get to the meeting point!
This was definitely a trip highlight. I had so much fun I immediately booked another cooking class for the following day.
