A fun, interesting and engaging experience. Came away with new skills, understanding and good friends. This was a delightful journey, I will find time to do this again in the future.

Avoid Florencetown tours at all costs. First, after we booked the cooking class, they repeatedly tried to talk us out of going and wanted to switch us to another tour, saying it was too touristy. Then why offer it in the first place? Second, the tour group left without us because Florencetown gave us bad directions. They refused to help us. Horrible experience.

I chose this particular class because the write-up said they did vegetarian dishes. I was not disappointed. From our meeting spot we walked to the central market where we picked up some of our ingredients. From there it was a short walk to the school. The cooking was a shared experience - some done by the chefs, some hands on. I was there with my granddaughter. The students were all English speaking and the chefs' command of the language was excellent. We walked out having prepared and eaten an excellent meal and with recipes for the dishes we had cooked. I would definitely recommend this.

My wife said the only thing she really needed to do in Florence was take a cooking class. This fit the bill perfectly. Kevin and Jon were our instructors and hosts and gave us a great experience in making homemade pasta, ravioli, tiramisu and a cookbook to go with it. Everything could be easily duplicated at home which was a great part. At the end we all ate our just-prepared lunch and it was terrific! Highly recommended.

This experience was so much fun. We began with a tour of Central Market to see the local produce and then went to the cooking school to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu from scratch. Pasta making by hand is HARD LABOR, but there were laughs galore, and the results when we got to eat what we had made were delicious!

What an excellent experience! Martina and Luca where brilliant hosts! They are very knowledgable, well organised and not a dull minute we had. Loved every bit of it- from the market , pasta, bolognese, wine, local nicknacks in-between and to finish off with tiramisu! Absolute delicious! Highly highly recommended!

I have never done a cooking class before and was worried that I would make something that I could never replicate at home, but that was not the case. The dishes we made we easy and DELICIOUS. I would most definitely commend this class to others who want to learn how to make past from scratch.

Martina our chef was so personable and charming. We booked this class on a Sunday morning for our Daughter's birthday and it became a private cooking class. This was one of the best experiences we had while we were in Florence and we were so glad it was the first thing we did because we learned so much about Tuscan cooking and wine that came in handy during the remainder of our stay. We loved, loved, loved it! Truly a 5 star experience thanks to Martina!

Super fun and hilarious class. It was a rather big class actually, about 10 of us in a very nice cooking school workshop, lots of free-flowing wine and fun environment curated by the chefs. The chefs tailored the recipes we were learning to make on the day based on the people in the class. We had a few vegetarians and some people who had food allergies so they taught us how to make two versions of the sauces for vegetarians and meat eaters, so we were all happy. I thought they did it in such a clever way, having two pots going at once for each dish we were learning so there wouldnt be veg v meat issues ect.

The market visit was amazing and informative, my mum wanted to get some chili and the chefs went out of their way to make sure mum got what she wanted and tried some amazing firecrackers spice mixes that we would have missed. During the cooking class the chefs also showed mum when and how she could incorporate the chili into her pasta as well. I really appreciated that they took the time to make mum feel comfortable and show her special techniques to make asian fusion pasta.
