Experience the Tuscan capital's top attractions on a small-group, 3-hour walking tour through Florence. Begin with skip-the-line access to view Michelangelo's 'David' in the Accademia Gallery, and learn how the House of Medici shaped Florence into a helm of arts and humanities. Then visit the Duomo, the city's iconic, Gothic-style cathedral, as well as the Baptistery to hear the fascinating origins of the Gates of Paradise. Afterward stroll the local streets, taking in landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio bridge.
Fantastic tour! Would do it again! Our guide was fantastic and the BEST HOT CHOCOLATE in the world!
Great tour, you will know everything about Florence in this 3 hours, john our tour guide was fantastic
worth joining a tour as you get in much easier without the queue to museum and guide shows you the most relevant parts and was very informative. the city tour was very interesting and he was considerate stopping in shade as the weather was so hot. Even fitted in an ice cream stop.

We did this tour in April and had an excellent, very well informed and entertaining tour guide. With a background in art/history he was able to bring to life Michel Angelo- his genius and artistic process behind his work including the impressive statue of David at the Uffizi gallery. After this first stage of the tour we explored key sites and areas of Florence on foot. We learned a lot about the history behind the sites and of Florence overall. Dont expect to get inside the Duomo as there are just way too many people waiting to get in. The outside of this magnificent building is impressive enough. We found this tour professional, informative, well paced although we were pretty exhausted at the end of it. Well worth it though.
Our tour guide was Angelo and he was excellent. He spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable of the city, it's history and all of the art and it's meaning. The tour lasted a little more than 3 hours and was very comprehensive. The meeting point was clear and easy to find. We started in the Accademia Museum with the statue of David as well as many other artistic pieces. Angelo was extremely passionate and knowledgeable of all of the art and artists. We then made our way around the city seeing many different sites and learning about the history of the city. Although the tour listed we would see the Duomo the line was too long to enter but Angelo gave us a great tip on how to see the inside and avoid the lines. The line can be north of an hour long so it made sense to bypass the inside of the Duomo and continue on with the exterior tour as well as see other sites. I would highly recommend this tour and Angelo!
Oh how I love Florence! This tour, with our guide Bernardo, was interesting and educational, filled with lots of unknown facts and history that helped make our trip so much more enjoyable. It is worth it for David alone, but the other sites are icing on the cake, as you learn more about Michelangelo and how he came to be the sculptor of David. I felt like I had learned so much about Michelangelo and his personality, idiosyncrasies and eccentricities from our guide, who is a native of Florence, and lover of his beautiful city. This tour is a must for those with a short stay in Florence and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
This tour was awesome! Klaas was amazing and taught me so much. I could listen to him all day. David was breathtaking. I went away wanting to learn more and read more. Highly recommend this tour.
Best way to see the David and the highlights of Florence! Skip the line in itself made the tour worth buying, however add to it that our tour guide Ishmael was awesome, and it made the tour amazing! Very friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job sharing his passion of the history and details that kept us entertained the entire time. We loved it and highly recommend this tour without hesitation. Bravo!
This was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Angelo was extremely informative and engaging. Our two teenagers were captivated. This is a must do while in Florence!
This was an awesome tour - it captivated me, my parents, and my 11 year old. Angelo was really one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had - he has a true passion for art, for history, and for Florence. I’ve seen the David before, but never like this. Thank you Angelo!
