Gloria was incredible! Very informative, and incredibly sweet. The tour was beautiful and something I'll always remember. I would've liked a little more time to shop in Siena. Also, the last stop in Pisa was a little unnecessary for me.
I have taken a similar tour out of Florence before and thought it exceptional. I took this one with my niece and found it equally rewarding. Susan was an exceptional guide. I'm home again and waiting patiently for the arrival of the olive oil and wine I ordered from the beautiful, self contained farm that hosted our lunch. Hope everyone that can, will take this tour and if you are lucky...Susan will be your host.
Alex was very knowledgeable, good sense of humour and helpful. Except the rains in Siena everything was beautiful and exciting more than expected. The church in Siena was worthseeing. The wine tasting and the food was yummy and the ride in Pisa was memorable!!
It was an amazing tour. I would recommend it to all those who want to visit the tuscan countryside and dont have much time to spare. Our tour Guide Elisa was amazing and you would be lucky to have her as she makes the entire tour much more fun. Time spent in each city was more than enough. Looking at the duration please dont at all feel it is a very long tour as i would say my family and i werent tired at all after the tour. You get enough time on the bus to rest. Lunch at Fattoria Poggio Alloro was amazing and if you are wine lovers do buy their wine and guess what they ship as well : Overall, i would suggest you definitely take this tour.
I have always dreamed of going to Tuscany, and this tour was a dream come true! The 12 hour day flew by and was packed with amazing scenery, delicious food, and fascinating information from our delightful and informative guide Jada. One of my best days ever!!!!
I loved the tour guide Gloria, and this tour is great if you enjoy visiting towns soaked with history, and looking at ancient/rustic architecture. I felt that we spent just enough time at each place, and the lunch at the farm was very enjoyable. After an entire morning of walking around under the hot sun, taking a couple hours at the wine tasting indoors is just what your feet needs.
This tour got better and better as we went from one town to the next.
I enjoyed learning about the history of Siena.
The views from where we had lunch were spectacular, and so were the wine selection!
My favorite part was the tower of Pisa. It is really leaning!
Our guide, Olivia, and our driver did a great job, providing a fun and relaxing day out in the beautiful Italy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour which went along at a comfortable pace. Out guide, Alessandro was very funny and endearing. Sharing the history of the regions and landmarks, peppering with lots of humor. He was very helpful throughout and made the trip a relaxing one. We went to Sienna first and it was Palio day, so it was crowded and very festive! Lots of things to see and shop for but we had to quickly move on to the next stop. Lunch was just ok. The food at the vineyard wasnt fantastic but we had a few glasses of nice wine. It was too hot to stroll around. Headed to San Giagnamo next which was really nice as well. A good day tour to get to know the region.
This was the best tour I have every taken. The timing of each town is perfect. I learned a lot and had a great time.
A fantastic tour highlighting three main towns in Tuscany. Elisa was a very knowledgeable and patient guide. We really enjoyed the lunch at the vineyard. The food was great and they even offered extra for those that wanted it. The wines were very good, especially the dessert wine with the almond cookie! : If you want to get a 'taste' of Tuscany I would definitely recommend this tour.
First let me say that Lavinia made this trip. She is seriously the best. And Marco is a great driver, I was so impressed with some of the sharp turns he made. Great trip, fabulous food, I could have taken this tour the next day and the day after. It was wonderful! Pay the extra money to go the top of the Tower of Pisa. The view is breathtaking. A fabulous tour, I could not have asked for a better day for myself or my family. We have been raving about it for weeks now!
I highly recommend this tour. Some other tours we did, we were running through the town trying to see something before running to the next place, but this one had enough time at each place. I thought that the tour guides were very knowledgable. I would recommended getting the pass to walk up the leaning tower of pisa.
What a great way to spend the day in Italy. We felt that if we were this close, we had to see the leaning tower! This tour turned out to be much more than we expected. We were fortunate to have a great tour guide, who pointed out highlights all throughout the route from Rome to Pisa. Very comfortable bus, we felt safe and secure all the way. We made a couple of stops along the way, two very interesting cities and a working farm for lunch. The highlight was climbing the leaning tower of Pisa. What a thrill to see one of the most recognized structures in the world. We took a little tour of Pisa as well. A relatively long day, but well worth it and very memorable. Great photo ops as well.
Everything was perfect, we had an amazing time, Lavinia was an excellent guide and she made us feel comfortable and was very informative. Would definitely recommend this tour!! Value for money!
This trip was through Walkabout Tours, and they handled it magnificently. Very entertaining tour, and lunch was fantastic. The guide, Steffano, was top notch. He made the tour more fun through his humor and personality.
Fabulous and Elisa from City Wonders was a fantastic guide and font of knowledge for the day. She made the day something I will always remember!
What a great day. Enjoyed every minute. Friendly and professional tour guide and lovely bus. Recommended
This was a great tour. The lunch at the vineyard was wonderful--make sure you send some of their wine home! Seeing the leaning tower of Pisa was fun--people do all sorts of weird things to get photos of them holding up the tower--great people-watching.
Long day, and a lovely way to break up walking around museums all week. Tuscany is so scenic, and the lunch and wine were superb. The stops in Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa were lovely, although we did unfortunately feel a little rushed, getting only around 45 mins at each town before having to hoof it back to the bus. Climbing the leaning tower was surprisingly surreal -- you can really feel the tilt all the way up!
Lavi was my tour guide and she was exceptional, she told us stories and the history of the towns we visited. Visiting the wine farm where we had lunch was beautiful and relaxing and of course the wine was delicious, Roberto was our Bus Driver and he did an excellent job maneuvering around traffic.
Excellent and comprehensive tour with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide.
