This was the coolest trip. Totally worth it. The guide was fantastic and was the optimal pace with both teen and young kids. Elisa was great throughout and Siena and San Gimignano are beautiful must see places in the Tuscsan landscape, Only thing - they could arrange for a slightly better local guide in Siena.
My sister and I enjoyed everything on this tour. From the food, places visited, company and especially the guide. We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was GREAT! It was an excellent way to see the Tuscan countryside and visit several Tuscan towns in a day. Our guide, Gloria, was amazing -- personable, knowledgeable and passionate. Lunch at the vineyard was even more than I had expected with an incredible breathtaking view. I highly recommend this tour!
Olivia our guide and Marco our driver were great! There was a bit of hiccup in the morning as we tried to leave Florence but because the marathon was on, all the roads were closed. Olivia and Marco handled it well and informed us of all the steps they were taking. Because we didn't leave on time, the tour was extended. No problem for all of the customers.
Olivia was a perfect guide. And Marco the perfect driver. We definitely recommend this tour.
perfect itinerary to tour the country sides of Tuscany! Roberto and Gloria were wonderful!

This is the best tour of the 3 we took in Italy for this 10-day trip! Walkabout Florence the local tour operator did a fantastic job putting together an itinerary that maximized our time in Tuscany. The bus was much more comfortable than the one that we took with Carrani for the 3-day tour to Pompeii, Capri and Sorrento from Rome. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful and funny. The 12-hour tour covered 4 attractions: Siena, Chianti lunch and wine pairing at a local farm, San Gimignano and Pisa. While the tour as a whole felt a bit rushed especially at Chianti we only got to spend 1-2 hours at each attraction, I wouldn't complain given the nature of the tour: I'd liken it to a great trailer for us to decide which part of Tuscany we'd like to spend more time in for a future visit. The sunset at the Leaning Tower as well as the ride of downtown Pisa totally exceeded our expectations of Pisa. Well done, Walkabout Florence! I look forward to taking another tour with this company.
The tour was great. The lunch experience was amazing! Loved how everyone sits together and the view is incredible. The walking tour in Sienna with a local was informative and enjoyed the little bit of time we had to explore alone. When we arrived to Pisa it was getting dark, but the pictures still turned out great...also, I'm sure we missed the large day tours so I much prefer it. Gloria, our tour guide, was so sweet and gave us pointers on what to do while in Italy! I will definitely consider another tour with Viator. Thanks! :
Having spent two weeks in Italy this past September 2016, this, by far, was one of the best tours we have ever taken in Europe. Our tour guide was beyond exceptional and deserves a 5-Star Plus! I have already recommended this tour friends in hope they will have the same experience we did.... GREAT!
Lots of fun but a long day with breaks in the middle. The tour was well organized and we saw more than if we tried to drive on our own. Tour guide was always open to questions and made even the so-so parts of the tour interesting. Would recommend if you have an entire day to see as much as you can.

Awesome tour lunch was better than expected and Sandy was great very patient. A lot of walking in this tour so you have to be prepared hills, steps,etc.. We are blessed with great weather and the sites were outstanding. Only recommendation is a restroom break long ride and no stops covering a great deal of ground in short period of time. I would highly recommend this tour and Sandy!
Excellent trip. The tour guide, Sandra, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She combined the right amount of information with the right amount of quiet time on the bus. The tour was very well run with the least waiting around time I have encountered on any bus trip. We covered a lot of ground so it was important to stay on task and Sandra did a great job of giving us the right amount of time and then moving on. Lunch was a little rushed but I think that was necessary to see so many sights in one day. The food was fabulous and the portions were generous. All the cities we visited were lovely. It was a great opportunity to see the beautiful Tuscan countryside. I'm really glad we did this trip.
This tour was amazing and well worth the price! Everything was great and we had a wonderful day! Our tour guide Gloria was great and extremely knowledgeable which made our trip even better. Our driver Roberto was also great and got us to all of our destinations safely and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone who is looking to experience Tuscany with a short amount of time available to do so!
It's a long day with a bit of walking, but we saw more on this trip than we did on any other day. Pisa was great, with many photo opportunities and lunch at the farmhouse could not have been better.
We spent time in Venice, Florence and Rome, but this trip left the biggest impression of how beautiful the Italian countryside is.
This is Lena, Andy's wife. My daughter Olivia and I went on this amazing tour in September. Our guide was Alessandro and our driver was Emiliano. Alessandro was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, funny, kind, and made our 12 hour tour so enjoyable!! Emiliano, our bus driver, was a calm and cool driver which made me very comfortable as we drove through beautiful Tuscany. The tour itself was fantastic: we went to different towns and heard the history of each. We lunched in an organic farm. It was nice to just sit and relax and let someone else do the driving and planning. I would like to also mention that after the tour, while driving back to Florence, Alessandro walked down the aisle of the bus and talked with all of us individually. He answered our questions about train travel and customs and any other questions we had. I was struck by his kindness and generosity of spirit. He must have spent an hour helping people. He is a treasure!!
Our tour guide Gloria was amazing! The tour was very well organized and we had plenty of free time to see the towns. A not to miss tour!!
The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The trip was well organized, and the details attended to. If you've never seen the cities before and want to have a great Italian eating experience, this trip is a must. We highly recommend it.
Beautiful tour. Excellent guide and driver. Spoke perfect English.

My family and I enjoyed our tour of Tuscany very much. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking -- especially in Siena and the Chiant regions. Our tour guide Olivia was wonderful -- she was very friendly and personable and she was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the day. Our day was amazing and we strongly recommend it for anyone who visits this part of Italy.
Long day but perfect if you don't have much time in the region!
This was a great tour to fit in the major sites in Tuscany while staying in Florence. Lunch was very good and there was enough time to spend in both Siena and San Gimignano. However, the time in Pisa was a bit rushed. There was really just enough time to get up the tower and walk around for 15min or so. It is a lot to fit into one day so we definitely understood the rush. Keep in mind that this is a large bus tour so there very little one on one time with the tour guide but he did sit with everyone on the bus back and recommended some very good places to eat for when we got back to Florence.
We took this trip in October 2016 with Cecilia as our tour guide. She was a wonderful guide, full of energy, enthusiastic and willing to share her knowledge about the area with us. We were worried about feeling rushed on this tour based on other reviews, but it was perfect for us. We didn't have a lot of time in Tuscany and wanted to see some sights without having to rent a car and navigate the roads ourselves. This tour met all of our needs. I thought it was wonderful that after our tour of Siena, we were shown a short documentary on the bus about the horse race that takes place there. What a great way to wrap up our visit to that lovely town. The farm we visited was lovely and we felt so full after lunch, I could have taken a nap. Thanks for some great memories!
