VIP Experience: Uffizi Gallery and Vasari Corridor Walking Tour Including Terrace Breakfast

Walk around the rooms of the Uffizi Gallery while listening to your guide!

Your tour will begin at 8am in central Florence, where you’ll meet up with your guide and walk to the Uffizi Gallery. Bypass the long lines at the main entrance and be the first to step inside the museum with your VIP access ticket.

Follow your guide through the main rooms on a 2-hour tour, learning the rich history behind the Renaissance works. Admire masterpieces from Renaissance greats such as da Vinci, Botticelli and Michelangelo. Afterward, stop for an Italian breakfast of pastries and coffee on the gallery’s terrace.

After refueling with coffee and treats, head to the Vasari Corridor for an exclusive tour. Dating back to 1564, the corridor is noted as one of the most impressive architectural feats of the Renaissance. Designed as a secret passageway for the Medici family to travel stealthily through the city, the pathway stretches almost a mile from the Pitti Palace, above the Ponte Vecchio and over the Arno River to the Palazzo Vecchio.

Soak up this unique experience to explore the corridor privately before the general public enters. Examine the collection of paintings and self-portraits, learning the intriguing tales behind the works from your guide. Your tour will conclude near the Boboli Gardens, where you can continue sightseeing independently.

Unique experience! It was one of my first tour inside a museum and it made the difference. Our guide, Sibilla, was great and went through all masterpieces of Uffizi and then she guided us through the Corridor completely alone! Really worth to do it also because we skip the long queue even at 8am!

Fantastic tour of the gallery and the private corridor! The art lesson given by Mario was incredible and informative. He helped us connect medieval, Renaissance, and Neoclassical artistic periods in Firenze and Venezia, while also teaching us a bit about the Medici family. I was saddened to hear they're possibly moving the art out of the Vasari Corridor next year and opening it to the public. Take the tour while you can!

The tour of the Vasari Corridor was a very pleasant surprise. Once you know the history of Florence this was a special part of our trip. Guilia was our guide and did a wonderful job. Very entertaining and gave us a multitude of interesting facts and anecdotes..

Lovely tour of the Uffizzi and the Vasari Corridor. Our guide was Giulia and she was wonderful. I would definitely take a Viatour again--they were extremely efficient, good natured, and capable. They did everything they said they would do. I was a bit skeptical before I signed up because, after all, it seemed so large and anonymous and generic compared to the tours I usually book. But they absolutely gave us a wonderful tour even though there were fifteen people on it. I was very impressed and would definitely book again.
