It was great! My husband and I had a wonderful time!!! My husband really enjoyed driving the Vespa I was little more nervous :! We had some great food and really enjoyed the scenery!
This tour was a highlight of our vacation! Our guides Valerio and Damiano were superb and Valerio's passion for wine was highly contagious. Our group consisted of nine people and we rode many miles through the picturesque Tuscany hills, with a few stops along the way. We had a wide selection of dishes for lunch and we sampled a couple of wines at that time. We highly recommend this tour.
One of our favorite things we did! We had a great time!
What a great way to see the Tuscan countryside! The Vespa's were pretty easy to figure out. The guides had each person do a test run to make sure they were comfortable. The views on our drive were breathtaking. It was enjoyable and informative visiting the wineries. Lunch was buffet style after the drive. A little bit of wine was served with lunch. Would have liked to have had more wine tasting.
This was a great trip out in the country visiting wineries on Vespas! We learned about the wine-making processes and at the end of the trip had a great lunch and wine-tasting experience. A fun trip, but you do need to feel comfortable on a Vespa, although you are given lessons before taking off.
The experience of riding a vesper in the Tuscany wine region was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guides Simone and Damiano were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and ensured everyone was safe and well looked after. We had a lot of time to ride and lunch was delicious and authentic. Highly recommended!!
Elisa and Daniele were fantastic guides - both very organized and fun. Had some extra time with a smaller group, so they took us around some other towns, which was really great to see. Great rides through wine country, if you're considering it, just book it - this was the best part of our trip, you won't be disappointed.
The food was ok, the Chianti Classico very nice and the Vespa riding in the Chianti region superb. Lots of time on the Vespa, but not too much, just the right amount. Stopping at the estate vineyard and olive grove were also nice. Great tour, highly recommend.
THIS TOUR WAS AWESOME AND MOST DEFINITELY A HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TWO-WEEK EUROPEAN TRIP!!!! Our group of 8 booked this tour due to the awesome reviews on Viator versus a different Vespa tour we had seen online. This did not disappoint. Everyone was so friendly and nice, and we had a ball! We met in the center of Florence and they added another couple to our group to make it an even 10. We were bused from there to the countryside of FLorence in a nice clean bus, and greeted by an awesome instructor sorry I forgot his name who showed us the facilities where we would be eating later that evening, followed by a brief lesson. My husband and I were able to purchase sandwiches at the restaurant, which was nice, since we did not have a chance to eat prior to leaving the city. For the lesson, each driver had to ride the Vespa in a tight circle to determine if you had the ability to ride alone. I was the only female in our group that decided to ride and that was a bit intimidating, but it was something I did not regret! With our group of 10, the lesson took about an hour. Unlike our assumptions, there is no wine tasting during the tour, which is probably best, but you do get a meal and two wines at the end when arriving back to the location. We drove about 3-4 hours in total, and got to see the most beautiful scenery throughout. Our group was followed by a small golf cart? and this made you feel more comfortable to know someone was there in case anything happened. You were also able to store your shopping bags in the vehicle if necessary. I have no prior experience driving a Vespa, so trust me, if I can do it, anyone can. Don't be afraid ladies..just take your time and enjoy every minute. You won't regret it!
Had a fun day out and enjoyed some beautiful scenery in the Chianti region. Riding pace was relaxing and to enable some new inexperienced riders to keep up. The tour of the winery was enjoyable and the lunch provided was very generous and good quality. Highly recommended but my only complaint was that as I was riding, I had to concentrate on the road more that the stunning view. I think that pillion passengers get the better deal here :
