Lovely! The highpoint of our trip was the opportunity to see the David sculpture for ourselves. With this early access option, we essentially had the place to ourselves for pictures and to enjoy it in all of its wonder. Later, the Gallery was absolutely packed and I know we would have been surely disappointed if we had been that crowded. The light breakfast after the tour was a nice treat. Effectively just a pasty and coffee, but enjoyable just the same. I highly recommend!
What a phenomenal experience! Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone going to Florence.
Tour guide Lucia was passionate about her description of David and the way Michelangelo could see the way to approach the large piece of marble. The breakfast was a very pleasant addition.

This was an excellent tour. Being able to have early access made all the difference. By the time we left, it was so crowded. Our tour guide I think her name was Julie was excellent. She told us many interesting facts.
Definitely worth it to see David up close without the huge crowds. When we first got in there were a handful of people milling around but within about half an hour there were huge crowds all clambering to take a photo. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable.
We had a great guide who was extremely knowledgeable and has a great deal of love and passion for the Art and Florence.
We were running late and Luisa left our tickets at the front desk which the guards at the front were aware of, via the CAF Travel group office. We were escorted to the small group and were able to catch up quickly. The David itself is amazing, but the other sculptures that were included were just as amazing in their own right. The tour started early, at 8:15 which gave us the opportunity to see the art in a quieter, more intimate setting. Incredible way to start the day! After that we went to the chocolate cafe to enjoy our Cappuccino and pastry. I highly recommend this to all that visit the Accademia.
Early morning entry to skip the line and beat the crowds took us straight to David ahead of the surge. Our guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and passionate about all she shared with our small group of 6. Worth the money and early arrival!
We had a wonderful tour guide, who was passionate about Michelangelo and the Accademia Gallery. She was engaging, and she did a great job explaining the history of the key sculptures, and keeping it interesting. The tour was the perfect length of time, and we were one of the first tour groups to get in. Worth doing this tour if you want to visit the gallery.
Our tour was held late August 2017. Viatour booking is easy with lots of good info to help you decide. The guide met us on time at the appointed place, then we went right into the museum without waiting. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with our guide! She spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable and passionate about Michelangelo! Before she started her talk we had some time to look and take in our first impression of the statue David. We had almost an hour with her including Michelangelo's other marble work. The breakfast voucher had a map so we could find the shop which was close by and covered a nice choice of items. All in all I was very pleased.
AWESOME! Lucia was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Our tour was very intimate 3 people total which was great and left ample time for questions. Breakfast was freshly squeezed OJ and a butter croissant from a nearby cafe, which was delicious.I would definitely reccommend this tour and Lucia as well. ::
We learned so much about art and history and but Florence was like during the Renaissance. Our Tour Guide was enthusiastic and a lot of fun.
Getting into the Accademia Gallery before the thousands of others was truly a wonderful experience, and the guide was super. She knew the history of David and spoke wonderful English. The breakfast left something to be desired as we waited a long time to get our coffee - after finishing our croissants. Service was not with a smile! Others without a voucher got precedence over us. They had our Euros already, so better to go after new money!
YOU MUST TAKE THIS TOUR! Having early access to the Accademia is almost priceless. When we entered the David gallery, there were maybe 15 people there. By the time we left after early access, there were easily hundreds. Our guide, Lucia, was really knowledgeable and gave us a greater appreciation for Michelangelo's talents. The breakfast is basic coffee and pastry, but the early access is worth every penny.
Wonderful. The Guide was knowledgeable and interesting and the Gallery was amazing. Do not leave Florence without seeing the David!
This was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We loved how thorough our tour guide was and how she deftly answered all of our questions. She kept all of us engaged, even our 10 year old daughter for the entire tour. The breakfast a coffee, juice, croissant, and chocolate candy was ok.
A very well worth it tour. Well organized and super-informative. It was an awesome experience to be among the first to be able to enter the nearly-empty Accademia and see the statue of David at the end of the gallery in a relaxed, and thoughtful environment prior to the crowds. Lucia our art historian guide was excited, informative, and passionate about the information she was sharing with us. We also had the opportunity to get a picture no flash allowed with the David. The breakfast on your own at a cafe was a few blocks away and included cappuccino, espresso, a glass of water, a croissant and a chocolate sample.
We took this tour on 25/05/17 and wow what an experience. Our tour guide Vanessa was awesome, she was very knowledgeable and passionate. Vanessa took us to other parts of the museum first and we are so glad she did. We would recommend this tour you won't regret it and if you happen to get Vanessa you will will be truly blessed.
Getting into the gallery early with an experienced and trained art historian was great
What can we say? To have private time with the David was absolutely the best! Breakfast was not any big deal - it was David that we wanted the pleasure of spending time with and learning about the genius of Michelangelo!
We were a small tour and Christina our guide so passionate about her job. Really enhanced our experience in understanding about Michel ANgelo and his life's work. The only way to see it before the crowd would definitely recommend
This is definitely a do not miss tour! We were one of the first groups into the museum and were able to view the David before anyone. Walking up the corridor seeing the David standing alone was breathtaking. Simply amazing. When we were leaving, there were throngs of crowds and tours surrounding the David making it hard to even be near it. Our guide Ciro was equally amazing as he was very informative.
Great and professional guide! We were the very first to enter the Accademia!
Excellent to view David with no crowd! Guide was most informative.
the only way to see the great sculpture works by Michaelangelo with less than 30 people in the room. It lasts just 20 minutes or so then the crowds pour in. Guide was very knowledgeable. Breakfast was down the road after the tour. Did not eat the breakfast.
