We did this tour the first night we arrived in Florence and had a terrific time. The meeting point was very easy to find and we were greeted there by a young man who confirmed our tour. A driver, Andre, then drove us out to the Villa, which was about 15 minutes outside of the center of Florence. The villa is also a BB place, so there are other guests around the property, although we did not meet any the night we were there. Entering the estate, we drove through vineyards and olive fields and when we arrived at the house, we were greeted by Alessandro. He is a young man in his early 30s who is very knowledgeable about wine. We sat by the pool area and chatted about Tuscan wines, the grapes that go into them and good years and bad years. It was a fun conversation. Next, we saw the fermentation vats, of which there are just three relatively small ones. The vineyard only makes a few thousand bottles each year, quite different from the vast operations we have seen in California. We also went into the barrel room, which has amazing history and character. Here we sampled a white along with some delicious bruschetta. We continued our wine discussion and Alessandro guided us as we drank as to certain flavors to look for, how it felt on the tongue and other tips. We went through some more rooms in the house, outside to see the garden and some of the vines up close and then into a dining room. Here we had a full 4 course meal: antipasto, pasta course a delicious pork roast, and dessert. We met the chef who cooked the meal and were fortunate to meet the owner of the villa, who dropped in to say hello. We were able to purchase some wine and olive oil from the estate, which we look forward to using soon. Around 9:30, we were met again by Andre, who drove us back to Florence. It was a memorable, enjoyable, pleasant evening. One warning: if you go in summer, put on anti-mosquito spray, as this place is outside the city center.
Top marks. Fantastic wine and great dinner in memorable surroundings. Was a highlight of the trip and would highly recommend.
Our wine tasting was a wonderful experience, exactly what I thought Florence would be like. The driver, the tour guide julia and the owner who met with us and toured his home with us as well were all great. The food, wine and views were exactly what we hoped it to be. I would highly recommend this tour! A great way to see and taste Florence.
Guila is awesome the best tour guide I ever had. This event was our most memoriable evening in Florence.
WOW!!! We had the best time! Alex was wonderful and very knowledgable about the wine and olives! But, most of all it felt like we were at someone's home for a party! Lots of laughter, great food and of course the wine! If you are looking for a wonderful relaxing evening while you are in Florence this is the place to be. You will leave with a smile on your face! 5 Stars
AWESOME! The estate is well kept and the tour guide was very knowledgeable as he was taking us through the site. Dinner was delicious!! Traditional 4-course Italian mean with Grappa or Vin Santo at the end with some almond biscuits while sipping on the vineyards beautiful white and red wines. It is pretty exclusive winery since they produce only 5k bottles a year and only direct sell it at the winery, so make sure you purchase a couple for your personal wine stash.
We were very pleased to have chosen this tour . We were in Florence is not much time. And this tour allowed us to get to know the beautiful villa with the traditions of wine-making , supported by unique even in small scale. Special thanks to our guide and sommeliers - for Laura . We had a unique combination - Tuscan scenery , wine and a good dinner at a small company. Thank you !
This tour was fantastic. We were transported to the villa in minivans 12 of us, total. Once there, we were met by Lori, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the villa and Italian wines. We were led up a path to the main gate, and when we entered, we saw the garden that is shown in the Viator description. We got a little tour of the villa and nearby grape and olive growing fields, then passed though the villa again and stopped outside for some fantastic views of the surrounding Tuscan hill country. Quite stunning. Afterwards, we went into the wine cellar and tasted some white and red wines. Very good. Lori told us all about what to look for and what makes a good wine. After that, we had dinner -- some appetizers prosciutto, chicken liver pate, and a couple of delicious cheeses, Dinner was pork loin and potatoes. Also very good. My wife is a vegetarian and they accommodated her nicely. All in all it was very, very enjoyable. We saw some of the Tuscan countryside, had some good food and wine, and met some lovely and interesting people. The age range was 21 - 60, I'd say, and we all got along just great! Highly recommended!
We enjoyed this tour a lot. Our guide was amazing and the winery was beautiful. The view around the Villa was unforgettable. We has wonderful diner which included several corses and of course wine tasting. The wine was very good. I highly recomend this tour!

This was the highlight of our Florence stop. Our guide was wonderful and personable. It was 8 of us in the group, the food and wine were amazing. I would highly recommend this tour. It is well worth the price and the vineyard and villa have beautiful views. Just lovely!
The experience was well organised and very enjoyable. The villa was magical and Alessandro was an excellent host. There were ten guests, 8 American, myself and my friend from the UK. We all got acquainted and the bonhomie continued throughout the evening. The quality of the food, though simply cooked was delicious and beautifully presented.
I would thoroughly recommend this Wine Tasting and Dinner Experience,it was an unforgettable eveing to round off our break in Florence.
Although this tour is a little pricey, go for it. The location is superb, the transport is very comfortable, the guide is entertaining, knowledgable, charming and a perfect host. The food is wonderful and the wine tasting is educational and great fun.
We loved this! 4 of us traveled through Italy together, and this was one of the highlights. Beautiful setting, delicious wines and the food was outstanding. A lovely, peaceful and entertaining evening.
Excellent evening, interesting and enjoyable. Well worth doing
I booked this experience as a surprise for my husband on our honeymoon. We were very excited and weren't disappointed. From the moment we met the coordinator at the meeting point to being dropped off back in Florence, it went perfectly. The Villa was beautiful a perfect location only a short drive out of the city. Our guide Alessandro was amazing. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, he explained everything about the wines and the processes involved. As this was our first experience of wine tasting we found it fascinating. We sat outside for our meal which was a beautiful setting. The food was simple but delicious and there was plenty to go round. We tried 4 wines which I was nervous about as I can be quite picky. The wines were amazing. I loved all of them. We also tried an Olive oil which was amazing. In our group there were 8 people in total. We didn't know the other 6 before the start so were nervous that we might feel out of it. This was not the case. They were lovely people and we had a blast. We all went for cocktails when we got back to Florence. We would totally recommend this experience to others. Top notch. Thank you
This was booked as it was my sisters birthday. What a fantastic time we had. Alexandro was knowledgeable about the wines, the owner of the Villa spoke to us and the food, location and weather was great. Met a load of people from all over the world and good fun was had by all. FANTASTIC!

This was a wonderful experience! As the sole guest, I was treated to a private tour of a beautiful villa. Must return for a week at the B and B. We began in the Olive groves and reviewed the history of the devastation that occurred long ago. The smaller trees are making a beautiful light yellow-green Extra Virgin Oil that has a wonderfully low acid content. It was featured throughout the evening. Dinner was in the B and B dining room and accompanied by 4 delicious wines. A blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay had hints of vanilla, pineapple, and grapefruit. A Sangeovaise that was smooth and elegant, and a "Super Tuscan" blend of Sangeovaise, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each added a wonderful note to the dish with which it was pared. A wonderful sweet dessert wine rounded out the meal accompanied by almond biscuits to dip into the nectar. Highly recommended.
This tour was one of the highlights of my holiday! The villa is absolutely beautiful. Our guide explained us everything about the wine making process. We went into the cellars and then after all the walking we had our wine tasking with a delicious dinner. I highly recommended.
