We were surprised to find that our tour was a private one aboard a small 8 seat Mercedes for just our family of 4 - a pleasant surprise. Our tour guide was phenomenal (Boris) with lots of local knowledge and perfect English. Rothenberg was beautiful - just like the pictures in a storybook.
We had a great time and enjoyed the tour in Nuremberg and Rothenburg. Our tour guide was Peter and he is a great tour guide and very informative.
Two small towns are very beautiful and very well preserve. Highly recommended.

Excellent day tour from Frankfurt. Driver and tour guide Peter was excellent and very knowledgeable of this gorgeous mediaval city in Bavaria.
The trip was great. Was not so sure at the beginning at the Green Line Shop, but Oliver, our driver was an amazing guide. Rothenburg should not be missed and the price of the tour was more than fair. Amazing time, and was not overcrowded as some tours can be when traveling. Highly rate this tour 9.5/10.
It is a wonderful little city. Germany has done well on keeping this place as it was. The sights, food, Christmas displays, and museums are just a few of the things I enjoyed about Rothenburg.
Must see! We wish we spent more than the day in Rothenburg, it was amazing!
Well worth doing Fabulous guide named George. Lots of. history and really quaint old buildings
Highly recommended! Georgen is a wonderful and warm guide! He is pleasing and informative and it was a very enjoyable and relaxing trip!
Boris was our guide on a personified tour to Rothenburg that was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to Germany. His knowledge of the area and the easy manner in which he imparted it was exemplary for all local guides. We couldn't fault the seamless organisation of the whole day and would highly recommend this tour to any independent travellers. Rothenburg itself is a delight, of course.
We enjoyed our tour of Rothenburg and the Christmas Market. Our tour guide was very interesting, knowledgeable and his command of English was excellent.
The tour member was only my family (3), so the guide was very flexible and took us not only Rothenburg but also Wuerzburg on the way back to Frankfurt.
We enjoyed the tour very much - shopping, eating, looking around the city and walking on the wall.
Our guided Rothenburg trip was a joy! We got lost and didn't get to the meeting place. I called, and the company sent someone to meet us and guide us to the van. Above and beyond! Our driver took us the scenic route and showed us some lovely churches and views. His tour was great. He gave us a great deal of history and made the tour so interesting. We still had enough time to shop (well almost enough time-you can never have enough time). Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
Beautiful well preserved city, with colorful wood timbered and brick houses, winding cobble streets and stone arches everywhere, we absolutly loved it

This day trip was a great way to experience the beautiful medieval town of Rothenburg. Peter, our Tour Guide, was wonderful - he suggested that we travel from Frankfurt to Rothenburg via the scenic route which meant that we were able see many of the picturesque villages that dot the River Main. In Rothenburg itself, Peter was able to give us information and tell us stories that would not accessible in tourist books or brochures. There were only three people on this tour and I was expecting to be told that the trip would be cancelled. This, however, was not the case and the three of us travelled very comfortably in a large car. I can thoroughly recommend this trip.
Excellent guide who took us to several other small towns in addition to Rothenburg which were all beautiful. Plenty of time in each location. Countryside was beautiful.
Lovely tour. Rothenburg is a beautiful city and should be high on the list of places to visit (take your camera). We had a guided walking tour and then free time on our own to explore and eat. Our tour guide, Ken, was knowledgeable and pleasant. I would highly recommend this tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour of an ancient city - at least by American standards. Loved the world's largest Christmas shop and shopping in the quaint shops all over town. Be prepared for walking the cobblestone streets with good walking shoes.
I enjoyed this trip very much. There were only two of us in the group, so they took us in a top of the line car instead of a van or bus. It was rather luxurious. Rothenberg is very unique. There was a band in the main square playing music which was a surprise treat.
The road was beautiful and we were lucky and unlucky. There were alot of traffic so we took the country roads. I saw 3 foxes in a field. But because of the long drive the visit to the beautiful town was shorten and it is a pity. Richard was amazingly knowlagable and kind.
Tour quite good and satisfying. Entire town is a tourist attraction. Lots of old buildings, parts of castle and centuries old gardens. Not to mention defensive castle walls and cobbled stone roads to walk on. Local pizza is quite delicious but journey is quite a distance. Therefore lack of time. Maybe better if stay overnight.
We could have used a bigger vehicle, were were jammed in. But, the day was beautiful and the guide was very interesting.
Highly recommended yet the guide and local operator was not good enough to give us a proper tour. The tour guide and driver shortened our time because of his many personal reasons including he wants to get back early in the city...we paid too much for us to stay only a short time in the beautiful place. The company should be professional enough to give us the worth we paid for, no short cuts! Overall, the place is wonderful!
