Inspired by Escape Rooms: ParaPoly - The Urban Adventure Game

Dear David, thank you for your review. As we already told you in our private message, we are really sorry that you weren't satisfied with the game. Again, let me please answer your comments. When you first called us on an early sunday morning and told us about the printer problem, we immediately offered you an alternative and easy way to get your map. It was the first time that we heard about the problem with American printers, so we will try to find a way to prevent such problems in the future. About the map: For the game, you only need the front side of the map, which doesn’t require the knowledge of any language. On the backside of the printed map we offer some information in German on how to purchase and to activate the ticket, for those who find the map in a café or so and want to play right away. Since you already had your ticket, this information was irrelevant for you. The back side also contains some touristic information about certain sights, but that is just complimentary information which is also available in the game app, which was fully available to you in English language. If you look at the version for self-printing, you can see that we only offer the front side of the map for self-printing. To avoid confusion in the future, we will add an information to our non-German speakers, that only the front side of the map is required for the game. You ended the game after the sixth task, which is the most complex task in the game. We have been offering the game for almost three years, it has been checked, tested and developed thoroughly and many, many groups have solved every task without using a hint. For us, it seems like there was a unfortunate accumulation of, from our point of view, minor inconveniences which, in our opinion, even in their entirety, did not affect the game' s feasibility. However, we can understand that under certain circumstances this can lead to frustration and spoil the fun of the game. Also, the game itself and the focus on problem-solving required to solve the tasks are not everyones cup of tea. That is why we offer a full refund for everybody who bought the ticket directly on our website and hasn’t tried more than four tasks. We’d like to add that we have instructed your ticket vendor to give you a full refund on the same day that you requested it. Cheers and all the best to you
