What You Can Expect

Paradise Cove Day Pass with Transport from Freeport

Spend a day on the beach while in port in Freeport

Following pickup at the cruise port or any Freeport hotel, board your comfortable vehicle and take a 20-minute ride to Paradise Cove. As the coach heads west, pass through Eight Mile Rock, a native settlement with important social and cultural significance. Learn about local landmarks and Bahamian history from your guide as you travel.

Upon arrival, rent a locker or towel (own expense) at the Red Bar or order a tropical cocktail. Decide how you want to spend your day: relaxing on the beach or participating in one of many available activities. Kayak, stand-up paddleboard or jump into a game of beach volleyball. Slip on some snorkel gear and discover Deadman's Reef just offshore after listening to a short safety briefing and information on how to help preserve the reef. An instructor is on hand to teach any first-timers the basics of snorkeling.

Enjoy lunch at the Red Bar, which includes fish burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and chicken. When your day of fun on this secluded beach is over, board your vehicle and head back to your Freeport hotel for drop-off.

great trip! The staff was very professional and the bus driver Nathan Parker was very friendly. Because the sea was somewhat stormy, they sent a guide with us to help us navigate the Deadman's Reef. While there weren't as many fish as I expected perhaps because of the storm, it was a nice experience

This tour was amazing! We all had a great time snorkeling and saw tons of fish, turtles, and sting rays. The staff were all very knowledgeable and kind. Can and #39;t wait to go back!

Bus came at exactly the time we were told to be ready. Driver was knowledgeable about sights as we passed them. Upon arriving at Paradise Cove, Barry and his supportive staff helped us with gear, and safety. This was our 2nd trip here and we will definitely return. Also went spear fishing! Loved it!

Loved this day pass! The snorkeling was awesome! I was with my friends but would also be great for families. For the price this was an excellent value as well.

Secluded little place all by itself, the people were nice. We loved seeing all of the fish and sea turtles. Big area to snorkel, paddleboard and kayak. The lunch only included your choice of a burger, chicken sandwich or hot dog and a soda or water. Included snack was chips or cookies. Worth the $

Better deal than the ones sold by cruise ships. Convenient pick-up/drop-off location. Travel is about 30minutes each way to/from cruise port traveled with other paying groups. Private beach, fine sand, clear water, fun activities as advertised: kayak, paddle board, snorkeling. Food option can be better or better yet just go back to the ship for buffet. Great overall experience for the price and good experience of what the place has to offer. Reliable local driver and vehicle mini-bus.

Paradise Cove was a set of wooden huts on a secluded cove in the Bahamas. The equipment was nice and the people were very friendly. The food stand was clean and the food tasted good. The artificial reef had many fish. The swim to the natural reef was for strong swimmers only. Once there it was amazing: sea turtles, squid, sharks, barracuda, many types of coral, schools of fish, etc. Definitely the highlight of our cruise.

An absolute must when visiting Freeport! A little busy when cruise crowds are there, lines are long and the staff at counter could use some help. Experience was amazing. Snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding and just chilling. Beautiful spot for all of that. My teenage girls loved doing all.

The beach was absolutely gorgeous. So glad we went to Paradise Cove. Finding the transportation when we debarked from the ship was extremely easy. It was so nice to have a covered place to wait for the shuttle to the beach. The kids enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks. The crew was prompt for the return to the ship as well. It was the only excursion we did and so glad we did this one.
