If you ever find yourself in Madeira.... You must go on an east island tour. The most peaceful trip I've had in a while.. The views were amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was very funny too ! The time stopped there...

Really enjoyed the trip arrived at our hotel to pick up right on time and very helpful and careful driver with a good knowledge unfortunately due to the fires we were unable to do the walk but this did not affect our enjoyment of the beautiful island will go back

The tour was as described. The itinerary was adhered to, although the minibus was a bit late for the pickup. Our guide, Joe was knowledgeable. Some of the sights were more interesting than others, but we didn't stop anywhere for too long. The drive through the valleys was fascinating, and the views were amazing.Lunch was tasty and substantial.I would have liked the walk to be longer. This tour is a good taster of what this side of the island has to offer. I would recommend it to others and I would use this company again.

Guide was very good .. But because 2 of the guest not being on time .... The tour was delayed ...we spend more time at the first site than originally allotted .. So at the end we did not go to one site ... AND this was the view that you see on all the post cards and one I was very much looking forward to seeing in person .... Disappointing.... Was not reasonable for the group to suffer due to the kissed with other guests ... Guide should have completed the tour, even it went late .... OR ... Not have waited for the missing guests.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better January 2016

Very standard tour delivered by the largest tour company on Madeira. The guide also the driver recited the comments some standard script, no doubt while driving and he left us by ourselves at the sights. Other groups and places we visited always had lots of other groups had their guides with them which told them some stories and facts but we were not so lucky. Maybe they were with another company. The lunch included in the price of 45 was ok, but nothing special. We stopped at a restaurant in the middle of the motorway, so you have no other options there. The tours by this company always stop there because, as we learned later, the owner of the restaurant is the same as the owner of the tour company.
We did 3 other tours on Madeira with 2 other companies and would strongly recommend to do such tours with small companies operated by 1 or 2 persons. They will take you to the local places where you will see local culture and not the tourist version.
