Fun, comfy trip to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher
, Oct 2019
Raymond ensured we had a comfortable ride and was an entertaining host throughout. Enjoyed his stories and local anecdotes! The Aran islands were lovely and unspoilt, and the cliffs of Moher were lovely on the sunny day! We had around 1.5 hours at the island for a tour and lunch, and another 1.25 hours at the cliffs of Moher, apart from a nice ferry ride to see the cliffs from the ocean. Definitely recommend the trip!
Everyone who complains about the weather should go to Spain instead of Ireland. We had a fantastic tour. It was well organised and easy going. John, our guide and driver made sure we're all comfortable and in a good mood. Overall, this tour is great for you can see so many things in one day. It was amazing to see the famous Cliffs both from water and from the top. 100% recommended
Seriously? - You are giving us a crap review because the traffic in was 'Super Heavy.'
Do you really believe that we are responsible for the traffic in Galway?
The reason our tour coach departs on time is because it is our resonsibilty to ensure that the passengers who do arrive on time get the full tour they paid for.
We also offer a free pick up service from all hotels and registered accommodation providers within Galway city to ensure passengers (who really plan) make it to the departure point on time.
I can't recall if I've asked you this before but, What's the difference between a passenger and a pedestrian? 5 minutes
We had a great time on our tour to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. The ferry ride to the island was very cold, but once you got to the island it was beautiful. You have the option to walk, bike, take a horse-drawn tour, or a tractor-drawn tour around the island. If you elect to take any of the tours - DONT forget cash. We asked before taking off if the Island guide took card or electronic payment as we didn't have enough cash. We were told 'we'll figure it out' - which ended up meaning I had to do a cash advancement at the pub and paid a fee to do so since the one ATM on the island was 'out of cash'. We had a great lunch at Rory's, bought a beautiful sweater from a local shop, and were on our way. The ferry ride back went around the cliffs so you could see them from the water - it was a beautiful sight and the weather was much more agreeable. Our final stop on the tour was the cliffs from the top - and WOW - highly recommend! Absolutely stunning views.
We took several day trips on our vacation to Ireland and this one was my personal favorite! Our bus driver Alan was awesome! He shared lots of really interesting information about the area and he was funny too! It was a very entertaining ride with Alan. He also pointed out a good place to eat on the island and reserved a spot for my group of 3 with a horse and carriage ride. The island was so charming and beautiful. The cliffs were absolutely stunning and it was great to see them from the water and from above. I can't recommend this trip enough and you'd be especially lucky to have Alan as your driver!
Our tour was from Galway by coach to Doolin, where we boarded a ferry to Inis Oirr, a lovely island with many things to see. We then took the ferry down the coast to see the Cliffs of Moher by sea before returning to Doolin to board the coach and walk along the cliffs. The view was, of course, fantastic and the thrill that comes with death being one misstep away was a fun experience. John was our driver, guide, and reconteur. He kept us entertained and informed during the journey. The ferrymen, too, had interesting tales to tell. We saw dolphins! 5 star trip.
It was such an amazing day!! Perfect amount of driving and walking, the island was gorgeous and so was the cliffs!! Perfect Guinness on the island!! Raymond was our driver. He was funny, very knowledgeable, and not hard to look at either, ha!! Very personable.
