It was an amazing experience. It would have been wonderful if there is a tour for Aran Islands also. The tour was cancelled due to rough weather and thanks for refunding the amount.
Just as a fair warning, this a looooong day! Completely worth it, but wanted to be blunt. The tour guide was knowledgeable, personable, funny and all in all we just had a blast with him. You really are cramming quite a lot in to one day, but given that we had limited time on the Western Coast while in Ireland this was our best bet to see as much as possible. Truly an awesome tour!
This was a wonderful tour and well covered by our expert guide...I think Phil was the name..very friendly fellow. The only thing I can say is that the stay at Moher cliffs should be extended by an hour at least...rest all was brilliant and would recommend highly to others.
Had a great time, tour guide was very nice and informative. Very pleasant day aside from it being rainy and cold. Which was expected, it is Ireland after all? I would recommend this tour if staying in Galway. They even picked me up at my hotel!

OMG you need to take this tour. It is so incredible. The Tour Creator was the best tour of my trip to Ireland. The tour guide was witty, intelligent, and gave you the history of the area. He even tried to teach you Gaelic. LOL. The Ferry ride to the Island was with Doolin 2 Aran. Smooth sailing with a craft that had inside and outside seating with a bathroom...really important part. The island people are friendly and the cruise around the Cliffs was unforgettable. We even to see surfers. Being from Central Canada that was kind of exciting to me. LOL.
It was raining the day our tour was scheduled so we were unable to do the Aran islands but they took us to caves instead and our tour guide was awesome. Very accommodating for the circumstances.
First of all I was very lucky that it was sunny on the day of my trip, so yayyy,
Regarding the destinations, they were breathtaking. I think it's exactly how people picture Ireland in their minds. The cliffs, the rugged shores, the castles, the cottages, everything!
Finally a special thanks to the tour guides that were extremely helpful and polite. Actually, because of a delay on my arrival to Galway, I missed the tour bus for 20 min so, Deborah offered to drive me all the way to the point where the bus was at so that I could catch up. I melted.
5/5 for sure!
Unbelievable tour and experience. Everything ran smoothly. Phil, our tour guide, was insightful and hilarious. You won't be disappointed.
Phil was our guide and our tour was amazing. He was funny and informative, we learned a lot about Ireland. The weather on our trip was perfect. We got bikes to ride around the island which was beautiful and the cliffs are insane. Cheers to Phil and his group! Support these guys!
This was a fabulous day tour from Galway to the Aran Islands....I had arranged it prior to our departure...my wife and myself were not disappointed....the tour left at 9:00 AM a short walk from the Skeffington Arms Hotel in Eyre park....our guide, Phil, was very friendly and knowledgeable...the trip to the ferry was pleasant and informative with his quick wit and style of pointing out sites of interest....the boat ride was exhilarating....when we arrives at the island, there was jaunting cart ride that we thoroughly enjoyed stopping along the way for a view of a shipwreck...at the end of this we stopped at a local pub for a delicious fish chowder and a pint of Guinness...the journey back to the dock included a side trip to the Cliffs of Moher from beneath....these views were truly amazing. If you have a chance, you should take this tour from Galway....
A very thorough and comprehensive tour. Our guide very informative.
Our tour guide, Alan was great! He was knowledgeable, funny and energetic. Loved everything about this entire experience. I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Ireland that they take this tour!
Absolutely great tour. Tour leader Phil was terrific. Learned a lot about the history both ancient and new. We had beautiful weather so boat ride to the cliffs was a real highlight. Some slight suggestions for improvement: We would have liked more time at the top of the cliffs. Donkey/cart ride on the island was not worth it. Donkey was not strong enough to pull us up the hill so we had to get out and walk a few times. Bus was 30-45 minutes late getting started.
Had a wonderful time on this trip! Even though the Aran Islands boat tour was cancelled due to weather our tour guide Phil was wonderful in showing us less known sights that were as he called it part of the Magical Mystery Tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Great trip to see the Aran islands and Cliffs of Moher, along with all the incredible coastal sights along the way. Only regret is that we didn't have enough time at either to explore...would gladly pay more to extend the tour for an hour longer at each. But it was still a day we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Fantastic trip despite weather. The Arran Islands boat trip was excellent and the views of the Cliffs of Moher from the sea and the top were ausome. Our driver Phil was very knowledgeable and made the trip. If visiting Galway would recommend this trip as a must
This was the best tour I took on my solo trip to Ireland! It was great to walk about and explore on both the island and the cliffs. Everyone was friendly and in good spirits throughout the day even though there was a mixup at the Doolin ferry place. I had a blast and would recommend to anyone.
Very good tour!
We spent almost all day out, was totally worthy.
The guide was honestly friendly! Very good experience to see the cliffs from the sea and then from the top.
The trip was beautiful and we had a lovely time on the drive, on Inisheer, and on the cliffs of Moher. The ferry ride to the island was a bit rough due to waves, so bring some antiemetics if prone to seasickness. The staff was fantastic - helpful, knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and accommodating. The day could not have been nicer.
This trip showed us all things that we tourist expect to see in Ireland. The wind, the weather, the cliffs, the stone walls, and the stone walls, and more stone walls. The trip to Aran Islands is a must do. Nothing feels better than being on the water and the wind in your face looking at the beauty of the Irish Coast. We visited the smallest of the Aran Island, the people were wonderful, recommend viewing via the pony carts the food was great, and the scenery breathtaking. Not to be missed.
Only thing was the bad weather and rough seas. Aran Island was disappointment, but the cliff were fantistic.
