Great day out
Graeme_P, Aug 2022
Started from the Victoria Hotel. Was greeted by driver John and guide, Phil from Lally Tours. Both were excellent and shared many interesting facts about the Connemara region and Burren. The highlight was the ferry trip to Inesheer with horse-drawn cart ride around the island, and the up close views of the Cliffs of Moher. Had fantastic weather so great visibility across the bay at Galway. Day was ended with visit to the Hazel Mountain chocolate shop, on our way back to Galway. Thank you John and Phil for a great day.
Great tour from Galway

Phil and Lally tours were great. It was a pretty rainy day, but we had a great time regardless. Phil knows his stuff, is friendly and always helpful.
Fantastic day trip

Seamus and Mairtin were wonderful! The small group was definitely the way to go. We were able to get to places the big tour buses could not and to talk to the guide/driver about real life. We got a feel for how the geography has shaped the people with respect to the sense of community, hospitality and kindness. The sights were amazing - the Cliffs of Moher, Inisheer and the Burren in their stark reality.
Not really worth the time or money

Boat ride was very nice to see The Cliffs of Moher, island stop wasted so much time at ‘recommended’ restaurant and received zero tour on island. Stop at Chocolate Shop was so commercial it was ridiculous.
Incredible adventures on the Western Coast

We had a bit of trepidation as some tourists we met in Blarney said the seas were so rough it ruined the experience. Clearly they had never been upon the sea- ( it’s rocky as expected but nothing more!) The ferry ride was fantastic- the time on the island of Inis Mor was INCREDIBLE- take the horse and carriage ride around the island- explore the shipwreck and see the gorgeous topography while getting a history lesson from a local. When we arrive back on the mainland and jumped in the bus we saw the gorgeous western coast ”wild Atlantic way” , visited small cliffs- an organic chocolatier and incredible local treasures. This was a highlight in our 10 day trip- a “must do” to your itinerary!!!!!
