Depending on which departure time you select, your nighttime tour will start at 7pm or 9pm sharp, but you’ll want to check in a half-hour before it begins at the lobby of the Holiday Inn's Smokey Mountain Resort in Gatlinburg. From there, you’ll take a stroll down some of the spookiest streets in Gatlinburg.
On this 1-mile walking tour, learn the haunted history behind every ghostly stop of the journey from your guide. Get to know a few of the ghosts by name, and follow the same path some of them walked before they became ghosts. Take a peek at photographs other visitors snapped of sinister occurrences (such as floating orbs and apparitions) they couldn’t explain, and decide for yourself what to believe.
At the end of your tour, you’ll get a chance to track down spirits with actual ghost-hunting equipment. Not to mention, there’s always the possibility of communicating with some spirits, too.

I am a dark history fan and this was spot on!!! The ghost stories and investigations are an extra scoop of ice cream. Next time I’m thinking of booking the personal tour to dive deeper in. 100 out of 100 would recommend.

Cathy was an excellent guide & funny! Great at storytelling and informing us of bear safety. Our group was fun and I learned a lot about the different meters & how they are used. Although I didn’t personally experience any sightings via camera, I believe I got something from the SLS app. My husband enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot about the history of Gatlinburg. We would do this again!

My sister and I really enjoyed the ghost tour. Even after walking all day long, we didn't mind walking around town and hearing the stories from the past. Kathy was knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. We would do it again in a heartbeat and tell other people about it as well. We really enjoyed being able to use the equipment while we were on the ghost walk. That was the highlight of the tour.

We generally enjoyed the guide. He had some equipment with him and the 2 pieces of equipment where words kept popping up that often coincided with the place we were standing. After leaving the Methodist church .we strongly felt someone was following us. I do believe there is an open.portal.right near the basement door. The majority.of paranormsl.pictures were taken there- none Of them very welcoming.
