It was worth having a guide to find the hidden secrets of Granada. We enjoyed it so much we booked another tour for a night walking tour.
I enjoyed this tour with Lucy, our tour guide. Lucy has a degree in Spanish history and architecture which made the tour very interesting.
She explained Granada's history as well as the details of the architectures as she pointed out buildings, monuments, churches and the carmens that dot the city. She shared facts that one would not normally hear in tours i.e. how can you tell if your orange tree will produce a bitter and sweet lemon? She gives insights to the landscapes and homes in Granada. Very detailed information about the Madraza architecture. Great tour!
We had local Granada native Juancho and he was great! Very knowledgeable, entertaining, and humble. A perfect mix between the moorish part of the city and the new city. Lots of history mixed with some humor and sight seeing. 5/5. Thank you again, Juancho!
We loved tgis tour with Beatrice from Cicerone Tours- both the company and our guide were so friendly, welcoming and keen to make this a memorable experience. Beatrice made sure that we delved into the most hidden and beautiful parts of Albaicin and took great care to outline the history and to explain the changing architecture behind these changes. We were fortunate to have taken this trip. Perhaps though, I would add an extra hour to include a visit to the Cathedral and Royal Chapel as part of this tour.
Mar was our local tour guide and she was fantastic. She cares passionately about her beautiful city and the history that shaped it. What made Mar so unique was her ability to read, the people in the tour and see what they understood and didn't, plus their interests so she could tailor her talk.
Mar and the wonderful lady ?? in the office saved our Granada trip by calling around, scrounging and other wise performing magic to find us 2 tour tickets for Alahambra. They were not to be found, many had tried. Thanks Viator Ladies!!!! Lynn and Ken Krupski
This was a really excellent walking tour. There is no other way than walking to experience Granada since the most interesting and picturesque parts of the city can only be reached on foot. The tour guide Mar was wonderful and so full of energy! Plus she spoke excellent English. She helped us fall in love with Granada! Highly recommend the tour !!

The time spent walking through Granada with Juancho was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain. His knowledge of the city's ins-and-outs and passion for its history is unsurpassed. He took me to parts of the city and inside historic buildings that I didn't know existed, and even if I did know existed, would not have been able to find on my own. Visitors to the city would do well to book a tour with him before he moves on to his teaching career.
Our guide, Juancho, was an absolute gem! He knew so much about the history of Granada, and not just the generic stuff most guides repeat over and over again. The time flew by while touring with him.
I booked a walking tour w viator.com which directed me to Cicerone Visit Granada agency. My guide Sofia was stupendous, she is a history, tourism and language uni major and knows so much about the history of this city. I was lucky to be the only one on this tour and got a private tour and a lot of insight into the history of this amazing city. Thanks Sofia for introducing me to your city.
Very informative tour. Introducing a lot of it's history and stories.
Beatrice was a wonderful tour guide! Highly recommend taking this tour.
Excellent guide. Gave information without going over the top. A great way to start our visit.
Wonderful tour! Not the best flamenco but was enjoyable nonetheless
The tour was great. I and #39;d been to Granada before but taking this tour I learned so much more about the city. Highly recommend!
We went on the 10.30am tour on Monday 16th May and greatly enjoyed it. The tour guide a young lady, don't know her name unfortunately was great, she had a wealth of knowledge and was happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your trip to Granada, as you get a good overview of the main attractions Granada cathedral, Albaicin, Granada University and find out interesting facts about the city that you would not find in any tour guide or book!
Me and my husband really enjoyed this tour, it was well worth the money. The guide was very informative and accommodating as we had our 4 month old daughter with us too. I thoroughly recommend this tour if you want to know the history of Granada.
Our guide was excellent and made the tour interesting. Well worth doing.
Violet was excellent, and took time to explain to both the British and Spanish nationals
Small group. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Meeting point is easy to find. Tour guide brought us to places where tourists would most likely not venture to visit. Very interesting tour with lots of information. Lots of local flair. Definitely recommend this tour.
fantastic. we had a small group. carmen made us all feel very welcome and her tour was very personal and interesting. thank you.
This was an excellent way to see the old Moorish and Christian quarters, wee streets and walkways and to find our bearings in the city. Our guide was excellent and an absolutely charming young man
