Absolutely jaw droppingly fantastic! What a way to see the Grand Canyon. Well worth the money. Maverick a brilliant company to fly with, extremely professional and well organised.

Excellent trip, very highly recommended! BJ our pilot was excellent as well. I'd recommend going on the 45 minute trip, it covers a lot of ground and is well worth the money. One thing to know is that the seating in the chopper is three in the front next to the pilot and four in the second row total of seven passengers. The passengers are seated according to their body weight so that the weight in the helicopter is balanced. This means you may not end up seating next to your companions in the flight. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of.

I highly recommend this trip, it's certainly something crossed off the bucket list!

Very well organitzed. Our flight was canceled because of the weather conditions and was rearranged immediately. The pilot was very professional.

Simply one of the greatest experiences on Earth.

The moment of going of the edge of the canyon for the first time makes it SO worth it. Our pilot BJ was great fun and provided us with interesting commentary during the trip.

Seriously, just book it.

I've been to the Grand Canyon many years ago and come back again to do the helicopter experience which was simply amazing! The Canyon Spirit tour is less than an hour but in less than 10 minutes you are already on the canyon so you will spend over half an hour looking at this wonderful natural paradise. The helicopter can host 6 people and from each seats you can clearly see the view; our pilot (unfortunately I don't remember his name) was fun and knowledgeable telling us more about the canyon and its history. The experience is a bit pricey but still one of the cheapest among the others and it is such unique that you must do once in your life!

First class experience was had by us on the Canyon Sprint tour (the 40-minute one departing from GC airstrip). Even if the drive from Vegas was 5 hours with a Route 66 deviation it suits anyone doing a tour of the Canyons/Colorado River as I can imagine the scenery from Vegas to the Canyon is nothing to write about for what you would pay extra for (& afterwards it would be a boring flight back). But from the airstrip you are in the Canyon within five minutes and the unveiling of the Canyon the flight delivers is spectacular and is worth all the money you will pay. You see so much more of the Canyon up close (perhaps with the exception of if you did a big hike or rafting expedition) that makes this worthwhile and the pilot was engaging and well-informed throughout the flight. I probably had "the worst seat" in that I was second (back) row in the middle, but honestly you are still seeing everything and only fussy photographers would perhaps be disillusioned with a shoulder or a head po pping in shot occasionally. It's luck of the draw though as you are seated by weight. They'll try and take your photo at the start and sell it to you at the end, but just hold your nerve and ask the pilot to do you a shot from your camera at the end of the flight and they will gladly do it if you have made an effort to engage with them during the experience (I imagine it must become repetitive for them). It's not something that I would repeat but it's definitely something I'd recommend to everyone as you cannot beat that "unveiling" that this offers!
