We really enjoyed our tour. There was another couple joining us on the trip we all happened to be from Oregon. This was the perfect size to be able to ask questions and hear everything. Our guide, Ronnie, was very knowledgeable about the historic significance of the sites we visited and clearly love his city and Jalisco. If we had not been with him we would never have learned about the heroes of Jalisco and Guadalajara area. And the significance of the history of tequila! Who knew drinking tequila was such a benefit to all! Walking around Tlaquepaque was also enlightening and fun. It's a charming area with good food and amazing and famous artisans, plus historical importance. All in all a wonderful introduction to the area. Thank you, Ronnie and aviator.
Ronnie was a great tour guide! Tons of great information on the history of Guadalajara and the area in general. The restaurant El Patio in Tlapuepaque was lots of fun with an all female mariachi band. Food was excellent as well.

Awesome tour of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque. The tour is operated by Amigo tours and our guide was Edgar so glad that Edgar took care of us as he was very attentive, informative and really went out of his way to provide us the best experience in both GDL and Tlaquepaque.
The city center tour in Guadalajara was great, specially the visit to the Government palace. We had a separate guide explain to us the frescos at the stair case painted by Jose Clemente Orozco the ceiling painting at the congress chamber also painted by JC Orozco and we got to hear really interesting stories of this building that date back to the independence of Mexico and the reformation of laws in Mexico, to mention a few also, something very cool and mind boggling was to see the document were slavery in Mexico was abolished by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla located in this building! There are other sites that we visited, but this was definitely the highlight of the tour.
The visit to Tlaquepaque was awesome! this is a magical place that has the vibe of a small town, but it is really a booming suburb just outside of Guadalajara. Highly recommend to visit the art galleries, the Ceramic museum free and to dine in one restaurants located at the andador independencia pedestrian street.

What a fabulous tour!
Our guide, Ronny, clearly loves his city. His historical knowledge was impressive to be sure - and his teaching while showing us the sites of this beautiful city was an absolute delight.
Our lunch in Tlaquepacque and our tour there made the day a complete success. We would highly recommend this tour.
This was a wonderful tour with Ronnie. His enthusiasm for Guatalajara and its history was amazing. He had us enthralled for the whole day. We highly recommend this tour and lucky you if Ronnie is you guide. Thank you Ronnie, best wishes Ann and Joseph
W felt very lucky to have Ron as our guide. We saw all the amazing architecturally significant buildings - government and religious - and were interestingly informed of their history and their significance today. Ron was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the culture and times that have made Guadalajara. And his performance did not stop there. In Tlaquepaque we were introduced to fine artisans with wonderful shops of their ware. It was a deeper experience than I'd imagined. Bonus: Ron's English is excellent.
Very informative had a great time driver was on time and very respectful almost had that one-on-one feeling! Definitely worth the price!
Our guide Ronnie was excellent. He was helpful and informative and made the trip interesting. I took the Chapala tour and the Tequila tour as welll which was good experience too.
The our was personalized. The guide was friendly, funny, polite and extremely well informed.

Our guide, Ronny Hernandez, was just GREAT! First of all, he was beyond accommodating for a five-hour tour that was supposed to start at 10 am. We came in from New York via Mexico City, with a connection to Guadalajara. Our airline Delta was so awful that we were 5.5 hours late getting into Mexico City, and then they claimed they had no connecting flight to Guadalajara that evening. SO, we had to stay in Mexico City and fully expected to miss the Guadalajara tour we had paid for months earlier. We let the hotel know that we wouldn't be in until the next morning, and asked them to inform the tour guide Ronny that we couldn't make it. When the hotel told him what had happened, he actually offered to come by at noon, instead of 10 am. We were able to take the tour after all! The tour itself was wonderful, and so very informative. Ronny knows Mexican art and history inside and out. We visited all the key sights of both Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque. The two cities are very different, even though they are geographically very close, and both form part of greater Guadalajara. The car itself was extremely comfortable - and beautifully air conditioned. Ronny picked us up and dropped us off - gave us great tips for dinner that evening. We cannot thank him enough for all he showed us, taught us, and simply gave us - he loves Mexico in general, and greater Guadalajara in particular. This is a splendid way to spend the greater part of a day.
We had Rony and he was an amazing history buff. We saw all the beautiful churches and cathedrals and had an amazing lunch with all female Mariachis The food was amazing. Couldn't have been any better
Incredible sightseeing tour! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Guadalajara and the town of Tlaquepaque made it even better. My guide, Roni, was amazing and very knowledgeable. I got to learn more about the history and beautiful buildings in Guadalajara and roamed the streets and stores in Tlaquepaque. This is a great tour if you are looking for a good introduction of the city and have a day to explore it. Highly recommend it!
We had a lovely tour of this beautiful city, Guadalajara and Tlequepaque. Ronni was our driver and my husband and I were very pleased with his driving, his explanations, and his knowledge. My husband and I enjoyed the day and Ronni let us stop when we wanted to go inside a particular building. We walked through the plaza center of Guadalajara and also the artisan streets of Tlequepaque. Our tour was greta value fro money and a wonderful day.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were expecting to be with others, but because we were the only english speaking people taking the tour at that time we ended up with a private tour, just us and Miguel. He did a great job giving us an overview of the historic centre and then a visit to Tlaquepaque where he gave us tips on some good restaurants to test out during our stay.
Roni was our tour guide an he was great, very knowledgeable. Very professional, accurate on the subject matter. Would love to have him next time we go.
Ophelia, my tour guide, was very knowledgable, professional and kind. She picked me up from a bed a breakfast that I stayed at with no additional cost. She had good understanding of the cities, their history and current affairs. She showed me around some of the local shops and helped me buy awesome things from street vendors. Her english was perfect too. No complains really.
