This was such a unique and fun experience. Our tour guy was pretty awesome as well!
This tour was amazing! First you drive up to the top of the mountains to a resort that houses all the activities you will be doing. The first activity was the zip lining. There were 10 lines in total. Next we did the water slide. You can tell the operator how fast you would like to go, but either way it was very thrilling and scary! Next, we had lunch at this very nice restaurant with a great buffet. Then, it was time for the horseback ride down to the hot springs. You can choose to ride or go on a tractor. At the hot springs, there are 5 different pools with varying temperatures. There is also a volcanic mud bath and steam room. Very great tour overall!
Highly recommended!! Tour guide is awesome and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed every aspect of this excursion the food for lunch was very authentic and delicious. It's the best excursion food I have had. Tour guide was on time. My favorite part was the hot springs.
What a great day. If you are visiting Guanacaste, this excursion is a must.
Fun for the whole day. Well worth the money.
This tour is a must. The guide was very knowledgeable and accomidating. It was a nice variety of things to do and see. The lunch was delicious.
The combo tour was very fun! The tour guide was very good at keeping our large group together, I am not fond of horses, so they paired me with a small docile hose and the ride was good, very fun, glad I did not wimp out and take the hay ride. The zip lining guides were very funny and kept us all moving, it was a great experience! I felt very safe and the views were amazing. The 1400ft waterslide was great fun be sure to do that, and again the snack and lunches were very good, all on-site prepared and delicious. The volcano mud spa was very relaxing, we sat in hot spring pools and kicked back with a libation. Don't miss this tour.
Its was great. The family enjoyed everything.
It was a great experience!
However it wasnt the real true rainforest as I was expecting. We went during the dry season (february) the forest was nice, a little dry and little green. We started our tour with ziplining which was awesome, there were multiple ziplining. Then we went down the waterslide (which was great) I didnt have any high expectation for this but it was really cool sliding down a waterslide through the forest and hear the howler monkeys. After that we had a delicious lunch. Once lunch was done we went on a adventurous horseback riding through the forest, steep hills, rivers, rocky hills and so on.. The horses took us to the Hot Springs spa location (Awesome). There we covered ourselves with volcanic mud and and then relaxed in the warm and hot hot springs. :-) our tour guy was sooo knowledgeable and made this trip very exciting.
this was the highlight of our trip. We loved the zip lining, the water slide, and hot springs area. Everything was extremely safe and the guides are great. The lunch was outstanding as well. We bought the CD which included pictures from all the activites. Highly recommend this.
