Do this combo tour- we have done it twice on two different trips to Costa Rica! We took my family here after doing it on our honeymoon! It has so much to do and so much adventure it's like living out all your jungle dreams! We really enjoy the ziplining because their is so many lines! Plus the hot springs are fantastic. I think they time out each adventure so well and you don't feel rushed at all. Its a great day and you will enjoy every minute!! DO it- totally worth it!!
This tour was amazing! First you drive up to the top of the mountains to a resort that houses all the activities you will be doing. The first activity was the zip lining. There were 10 lines in total. Next we did the water slide. You can tell the operator how fast you would like to go, but either way it was very thrilling and scary! Next, we had lunch at this very nice restaurant with a great buffet. Then, it was time for the horseback ride down to the hot springs. You can choose to ride or go on a tractor. At the hot springs, there are 5 different pools with varying temperatures. There is also a volcanic mud bath and steam room. Very great tour overall!
We had a very nice time on this trip and we had a great guide Carlos. The zip lining was fun and my wife and I both took one trip down the long water slide. It was a harrowing experience but I would do it again. A short horseback ride to the spa where we enjoyed a mud facial and some time in the hot springs while watching the Howler Monkeys. Very nice day
