Learned a lot about the shrimp industry, birds of the area and about dolphins. Unfortunately you can't always see the wildlife. Our guides were very knowledgeable. The restaurant on the site is not always open so check before you think you might get something to eat before you go and take water.

The 5 of us had a great time on our trip! We learned alot, and my 10 year old, the one that I thought would hate it loved it the most! We saw a couple dolphin, an eagle, plenty of pelicans and other sea birds diving for dinner, and they even got to drive the boat for a while-bonus! Learned alot about the shrimping industry. Our guide was a marine biologist, which is what my oldest daughter wants to be, so it was great for my daughter to learn directly from her. I would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour! The tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly. Loved that they let the kids drive the boat. We saw lots of wild life including several dolphins...it was awesome!

We enjoyed the tour. We booked the 6pm tour, which was very hot at the beginning, but cooled off as we continued. The captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were the only guests on the tour with children one of which is delayed with sensory issues and they were both very good with our family. We did not see any Dolphins, but saw much other wildlife, shrimp boats, etc. We would go again.

Very fun and informative tour. Beautiful views on the sunset cruise. Our kids (ages 5, 6 and 10) gave it a thumbs up as well. Getting to steer the boat was a highlight for them!

This was an educational tour. We learned about birds in the area as we watched them fish, fly, and nest. Saw dolphins and learned about their habits, about the various bodies of water there and the fishing companies. It was a bit boring for my 6 yr grandson til he got to drive the boat! Great tour!

This was the perfect tour for my family - ages 6-75! The boat was nice and comfortable, the guides incredibly knowledgable, funny and patient and the sights were beautiful, fascinating and calming. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a change of pace to hitting the beach.

Johanna and Captain Dave gave us a great tour of the area waters. We saw several dolphins and birds. Their entertaining commentary made the 2 hour trip quite worthwhile.

This was great fun for the entire family. We had never taken a boat tour before so we didn't know what to expect. We arrived to Happy Harbor at Oyster Bay, the address on our order voucher, and the boat pulled up right on time for our tour. Captain Danny and Johanna our tour guide greeted us with a warm welcome and friendly smile. After a brief safety orientation we were on our way.

We motored into the Bon Secour River and out into the mouth of Bon Secour Bay. The tour preceded into the intercostal waterway and back into Oyster bay. On our return loop we traveled a little further back up into the Bon Secour River before returning to Happy Harbor. The tour lasted two hours.

Johanna is a marine biologist and was very knowledgable of the animal life as well as the history of the area. She was very informative and shared several interesting stories about Gulf Shores history and culture. We especially enjoyed the intimate size of the tour and back stage view of the areas fishing industry. This tour is a great value for 20 bucks and offers a nice contrast to the commercial side and beaches of the area. So, if you are looking fore something a little different that is a family friendly break from the beaches this tour comes highly recommended. And who knows, you might see some dolphins too.
