Phenomenal. Steve was awesome; more like a knowledgeable best friend. Small group was truly a fun time. Will never forget it....

Steve is a great tour guide. He explained everything clearly and in detail and he also gave us time to take some photos of the different places. He also took some pictures of us and sent them to our emails. It is a highly recommended tour , not only for Steve, but also for the different sites and the history and culture that we learnt.

Me and my partner would both highly recommend this tour and we would especially like to commend our excellent tour guide, Beth, on a fantastic day!

Both of us had only a tiny bit of background knowledge about the Silla Dynasty, and Beth did an excellent job of keeping us informed we were both fascinated to learn more in depth about this period of Korean history and it has made us keen to learn more in the future.
We were lucky in that we were the only people booked on the trip that day, and Beth picked us up straight from our hotel exactly on time, maximising our time in Gyeongju. The minivan was a comfortable way to travel even for people like me who are tall and slightly on the plump side, and Beth was kind enough to provide umbrellas to protect us from the weather.

This is definitely the best way to experience Gyeongju. The sites are very spread out, so having a knowledgeable guide who knows the most efficient routes is a big help, as is having someone to explain the history behind the area in more depth. We were extremely glad we booked this tour and will certainly remember it as one of the big highlights of our time in Korea.

Thanks again to Beth five stars on all fronts!

Steve was an excellent tour guide. Very good knowledge about the sites, flexible, as we started the tour in Busan and he dropped us after the tour at our hotel in Gyeongju. Very enjoyable day, thank you!

I booked this tour for my other half's 30th birthday, and we had a fantastic time. Our tour guide Steve was really knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I was surprised to find out that no one else had booked the tour for the same day - it's definitely worthwhile. It did mean that we essentially had a private tour, which was pretty amazing.

This is an excellent tour which was made better by our guide Beth who not only was a lovely person but her English was excellent, far exceeding what I expected, as was her knowledge and information. We learnt not only the history of the sites we visited but also about the culture of South Korea. During the course of the day Beth took photographs, individual and group, and e-mailed them to us. The lunch was a buffet which was average. A excellent day but on the expensive side for a day tour.

This was a great day. We visited the historic city of Gyeongju with Steve Kim who was very well informed about the history and relevance of not only the city, but of the importance it played within the Sila Dynasty. He took us on walking tours of all the major historic spots, the gardens, the palace, the historic home, the temple and Grotto. Steve would give us brief history lessons of the site before we got there so we had a good understanding of what we were walking around and then at the site itself he would share historical anecdotes. We also got some great pictures from the tour itself. This is a walking tour so be prepared to bring comfortable shoes and a good camera.

Such a great tour with an amazing tour guide. Luckily no one else was scheduled to take the tour with my sister and I that day so it was just the three of us! Our tour guide Steve was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. Not only did we learn about the history of Gyeongju but we also learned about the current culture of South Korea. During the tour he took photos for us and emailed them when the tour was over. We started the tour earlier and ended earlier to beat the traffic which was such a great idea because it gave us a chance to sightsee in the evening. At the end he volunteered to drop us off at Haeundae Beach and gave us a little tour and some suggestions as to what to do/see/eat. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour if you're spending time in Busan. Thank you Steve for such a great experience!

Our guide, Beth, was lovely! She had a wonderful command of the English language a lot better than the average tour guide you get in the so-called English tours in Korea. The itinerary was well planned and well paced, and the sights in Gyeongju made the long drive worth it.
Beth had a wealth of information to share and she indeed punctuated each story with animation. The tour was exactly as described, but a small disappointment would be lunch - it was a buffet with a variety of dishes offered, but most of them were served cold might be a local culture but this was something we couldn't get used to.
Not sure why tours in Busan are relatively higher priced compared to the other Korean cities, perhaps because of the insufficient demand. The tour agency wasn't very responsive in email replies and only confirmed the hotel pickup time the night before.
Nevertheless, the 5 star rating is for the tour itinerary and our guide Beth!
