Take a seat on the covered open deck for great views of the city's top attractions -- by water and by land! -- on this 1-hour tour. Your knowledgeable driver/guide will keep you entertained with engaging commentary and tales of naval history, and offer suggestions for where to head next during your stay in this bustling seaside city.

The tour begins on land in Halifax’s historic district downtown. Your driver will point out the city's oldest building, St Paul’s Church, which dates to 1749, as well as Citadel Hill, where landmark Fort George sits as a tribute to Halifax’s key naval role during the British Empire. Flower-filled Halifax Public Gardens is a lovely example of a Victorian-era garden, with its linden and elm trees, wrought-iron gates, bandstand, fountains and statues.

Then it's time for an exciting plunge into the waters of Halifax Harbour to learn about the city’s naval fleet. While learning about Halifax's naval history, you'll enjoy waterfront views of navy ships and submarines. The tour ends where it began, and you'll be ready to hit the town with dining, shopping and entertainment suggestions from your entertaining driver/guide. This tour was very informative and interesting. We really enjoyed seeing the city from the water and our guide gave us lots of information.
It was a little far from the port and not that easy to find.

The Habour Hopper is a fun way to see the sights of Halifax. Both our driver and guide were fun and knowledgeable of Halifax and the history of the area. I highly recommend taking this tour for a fun experience and a view of the city that not everyone gets to see.

Seeing the sights of Halifax both from the streets and from the water were incredible. Stories of the history of Halifax told but the tour guide were fascinating learned a lot about Nova Scotia that I had no idea about. Highly recommend this trip to everyone. Stair getting up into the boat were hard if you are handicap but worth it if you can.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was a history teacher and loves this city and enjoys this job and it shows in his narration. The tall ships were in town and seeing about 20 to 25 tall ships from out in the harbor was very exciting. Great way to see the city!
