The tour leader, Laila, is so professional, knowledgeable, courteous and she Kept us entertained throughout the whole tour. Time just passed so quickly. The lobster roll lunch with wine is superb. We had a great day with our small group tour to Peggy's cove and other landmarks in the Halifax area. Lunch was just right and the commentary was both informative and fun! Highly recommended for a day trip with a more personal touch than a coach tour.

This tour was a wonderful experience. It was well thought out and there was lots of time at each spot we visited.
Laila our guide/ owner of the company was a wealth of knowledge. We were the only two people on on this tour and that made it extra special. We learned about so many Historic events beyond the titanic. And of course there's Peggy's Cove!!!
Stunning.!! We enjoyed an exceptional day and would highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I took this tour mid-June. 2017 We had particularly picked this tour having read the recommendations of others plus we wished to see the graves of some who were lost on the TITANIC.

On the day we took the tour it rained and when we say rain we mean it. There were 8 of us in the group the mini-bus could have held a couple more. Peggys Cove was in thick fog but in a way it added to the atmosphere. Although that was the main destination we were shown other points of interest.

Our guide, the owner was a fountain of knowledge and allowed plenty of time at each stop. Our lunch stop was excellent.

If we were to make an adverse comment it would only be to say that neither of us like to introduce ourselves as everyone was asked to do once everyone was aboard. It is appreciated that this is the North American way but both of us felt rather uneasy at saying who we were Christian name and surname to strangers. This did not stop us having a great day but perhaps thought might be given to those who prefer not to divulge such information until it is voluntarily put forward.

We were picked up at our hotel by a knowledgeable tour guide in a comfortable 8 seat AC van. She taught so much history of the area. Peggy's Cove is a delightful, small fishing village with lighthouse, shops, eateries, info station and restrooms in two locations. The other places we saw were the SS Atlantic museum, the Titanic victims gravesites at the Fairview Cemetary, the Swiss Air 111 memorial. Lunch stop at the Finer Diner in Hackett's Cove was so much fun. We sat at a table for 9 and were able to pick anything off the menu. Lobster Rolls, fish chowder were our selection and they were delicious. Our group really got to know each other after that and conversation flowed. Last stop was the neighborhood that was affected by the Great Explosion when 2 cargo ships collided in the harbor...one with ammunition that was set off by a fire caused by sparks. I won't tell it all...save the story for yourselves to hear on tour. Go...so worth it! If I could make one suggestion...if the tour is offered a bit later than 9:30, try that. We had terrific fog in the morning that blocked scenic views. Bring a light jacket if you go in June like we did. Windy by the lighthouse, and rain pops up sporadically if it is in the forecast.

We highly recommend this tour. Laila was very knowledgeable regarding the sites we saw and offered interesting discriptions and stories along the way. The history of the area is facinating and very well explained by her. We had lunch and a glass of local wine at the Finer Diner. The lobster roll was very fresh and satisfying and the wine delicious. Since Laila also has a wine tour in the wine producing areas of Nova Scotia, she shared with us the recent successes of the ever-growing wine industry. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Laila!
