We had a private tour with Jeremy he was fun and knowledgeable. He does wine tours and so we got extra info with lots of info about the wine industry in Halifax. We ate at a cute diner outside Peggy's Cove which was rather crowded called The Finer Diner.

This is an excellent adventure out of Halifax to Peggy's Cove. We stopped on the way at the site of the SS Atlantic's sinking and the cemetery for its victims and at the memorial for Swissair 111. We had plenty of time at Peggy's Cove to walk around the lighthouse and go through all the shops. Lunch at the Finer Diner was fantastic too. Back in Halifax we toured the cemetery where the Titanic victims are buried, and finished with a look at a couple of beautiful churches. Laila is an excellent guide and host, making the day for us a high point of our Halifax vacation stop. This is very well worth the money!

The tour was conducted by Laila, who owns Go North Tours. She is very knowledgeable about the local history and showed us Peggy's Cove as well as other interesting sites, including the Titanic gravesites.

It exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it highly to anyone who wants an interesting tour of Peggy's Cove and other historic sites in and around Halifax.

Without a doubt this is the best shore excursion we've ever taken. Our tour guide and driver was the best, she was well informed and friendly. Her driving was great and the sites we saw were incredible. We would highly recommend her and we'd definitely use her again if we get back to Halifax.
