Do you need someone to arrange taxis, muttering the occasional fact as you plow through the check boxes of downtown sites? Then this is the tour for you. Otherwise, find a guide more interpersonally adept.

The walking tour is a great way to see the city, get to ask lots of questions and learn about fascinating Hanoi. My guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable. One of the highlights was lunch, when I asked the guide to take me to the restaurant visited by Anthony Bourdain and President Obama. Tiny, but six floors high...the Bun Cha was the best meal I had on a 3 week trip!! An excellent tour.

It was ok, once you saw the main things, it was just a lot of walking and seeing the same things over and over again.

A very interesting Hanoi city tour with Peter. He ensured we had all the facts on the places we visited and was happy to go at our pace. Best bit the walk around the Old Quarter sampling Moon cakes and finding a cobbler to fix my Sandles at a bargain price!
