Excellent tour and good organized! High Flexiblity for our wishes.
We really enjoyed the Hanoi city tour so much, a highlight of our trip and guide Huong were absolutely welcoming and knowledgeable, the lunch at 5 spicy restaurant was also excellent. This was a highlight to our overall trip. Highly recommended
This is my second time seeing the Water Puppet Show so obviously you can't miss this.
Bravo for excellent services!!! Amazing Hanoi tour, taste some typical Hanoi foods like Bun Cha, Pho Con, etc...meet the locals while sipping a cup coffee, discover Hanoi history and cultural with guide Trung, a young and energic Hanoian who takes you everywhere with fun and knowledges. A full day of many activities, tired and so many fun.
Highly recommend for one day tour combined sighseeing, then went for coffee and street food
Great tour, great guide. Very informative. Just ended up being the two of us with our guide. Water Puppet Show is a dud - people falling asleep all around me.
It was great! Tour guide was really nice and accommodating. Really enjoyed this tour.
Good tour but just so mad in Hanoi you don't actually travel very far poppet show was just 2nins from our hotel
The Hanoi City tour is great value for money as you get to see all the main sites and a very substantial lunch is included the food was very good. Our guide was very informative and friendly and despite there being a mix up about breakfast not included in the package as stated on the Viator website our guide was kind enough to buy us both a banh mi to go with our egg coffees. Despite the torrential rain had to buy ponchos and wade through ankle deep water, the tour was very enjoyable and we got to find out about the history of Northern Vietnam. The Museum of Ethonology was a highlight as you get to go outside and explore full-size houses from all the different ethnic groups. We also stopped at a lacquer workshop where we got to see people working on the different stages of creating the famed Vietnamese lacquer paintings and products. The cyclo ride at the end of the day was also a good way to see more of the Old Quarter. Some people may find the day slightly rushed but this tour is definitely a good way to fit in a great deal of sight-seeing and history if you are short on time.
Our guide was quite knowledgable, and spoke very good English. It was a very full day. Egg coffee at the end was the frosting on the cake.
Guide a bit difficult to understand. Water Puppet show quite amazing. Did not get cycle ride

This was part of our trip package! I am glad I didn't pay extra for it.
The operator called us at 9PM the night before to change the start time from 7AM to 9AM. This is an 8 hour tour, not a 10 hour tour! I believe that if you pay for a driver and guide for 10 hours that you should receive 10 hours of service. Kaine, our tour guide, indicated that he was pushing back the start time because it was cold that morning. We tried to stay with the 7AM start time, but he insisted that we chose either 9 or 9:30. The tour called for us to have soup for breakfast and coffee later in the day. Instead he forced us to choose between the soup and the coffee. Kaine's English was adequate, but difficult to understand.
tour begins too early, lunch is just a cup of noodles, price is too expensive, especially in days when museums are closed, without good alternatives
