Combine two popular activities in Hanoi: a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter followed by a water puppet show. You’re picked up from your hotel by cyclo and pedaled around the city at a relaxed pace. Enjoy unobstructed views of street scenes and capture the perfect photo op en route to Hoan Kiem Lake. Then take a seat at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre for a 1-hour show featuring the Vietnamese art of water puppetry.
Hanoi cyclo tour plus water puppet show
Ride past prominent landmarks in the Old Quarter and French Quarter
Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and watch a 1-hour show at the theater
Start your 1-hour cyclo ride with hotel pickup in Hanoi. Get comfortable aboard your bicycle rickshaw as your driver pedals past significant city landmarks. In the French Quarter you’ll see the French-colonial grandeur of the Hanoi Opera House and the timeless elegance of the Sofitel Metropole Legend Hotel, built in an opulent era.
Continue on to Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi’s Old Quarter to explore 36 tree-lined streets in the historic district. Finish your cyclo tour at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre and settle in for a quintessential show. Watch puppeteers perform Vietnamese legends on the water’s surface using a system of underwater poles and strings that bring the elaborate puppets to life.
Afterward, your tour ends at the theater.
Well organized and very enjoyable. You see the sights without having to walk around. iIts fun to do and the arrangements for Water Puppet show very good, front row seats!
Fascinating and Relaxing! Imagine just filming the areas as you pass through...in the comfort of a Cyclo! We even visited the St. Joseph Church before the actual Tour Started. It was quite a surprise for me to know and see A Catholic Church there! Unfortunately it was closed when we were there! The Puppet SWhow was excellent too! A Pity my Camera didn't do Justice to the Show! My photos turned quite dark for my own taste! Nevertheless everything was enjoyable I do recommend this tour To others too!
Was ok but cyclo drivers had zero English and so although they pointed at buildings were unable to say what they were.
Viator didnt owned the transport. In retrospect realized we could rent our own local transport
