Overview

Sail around Helsinki on a 2.5-hour jazz and dinner cruise. Listen to evergreen hits by jazz greats such as Nat King Cole and others, hosted by creative pianist Janne Maarala. The cruise departs at 6pm from Market Square, Lyypekinlaituri (behind the Old Market Hall). Boarding starts half an hour before the cruise departures, so arrive at the dock on time for your choice of seating. 
 
Board the M/S Aava and find a seat on board. Get picturesque views of the Helsinki archipelago against the summer midnight sun as the ship leaves port. Menu 1: Meat and Fish

  • Rainbow trout smoked by the chef, served with Kastelholm cheese sauce, pickled red onion, radishes, cucumber, croutons, cheese chips, garden cress and dill (LF GF)

  • Lamb fillet fried in thyme butter and a spring salad made from sugar peas, spinach, radishes and parsnip, served with creamed sand leek butter, red wine vinegar reduction and potato cake (LF GF)

  • Warm chocolate fondant and old-world vanilla ice cream, served with sour apple compote (LF)

Menu 2: Vegetarian

  • Roast early-crop vegetables, Kastelholm cheese sauce, pickled red onion, radishes, cucumber, croutons, cheese chips and cress (LF)

  • Savoy cabbage roll stuffed with mushrooms, served with potato and garlic purée and fresh tomato sauce (LF)

  • Warm chocolate fondant and old-world vanilla ice cream, served with sour apple compote (LF)
