2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better July 2016

This tour was disappointing. We had hoped to see more wildlife, but all we saw was the vicious monkeys and the crocodiles in captivity. Our tour guide was a sweet, attentive young gal who hadn't been formally trained in touring as many of our other guides have been, so she had to google answers to some of our questions. The lunch at the resort was fantastic and could have fed an army. But the biggest thing is that I was standing a few feet from some monkeys on the walking path and 2 came up and bit me! When the guide tried to help, 2 more came over and bit her! The staff at the park tended to my bleeding bites, but now that I'm home my doctor has me going through the rabies series of shots to be safe. If you want to get out of the city and see country/coastal life, his might be a good tour, but keep your distance from the monkeys.
