it is really awesome tour. our tour guide from TNK travels Mr. Hoi and Mr. Bin explained and guide as very well. This tour is highly recommended and to know more on Vietnam History. An amazing experience.
Very fun and informative! We had a lot of fun crawling through the tunnels and it was fascinating to learn more about how the war affected this region and its people.
Excellent tour, our guide John was both humorous and informative. Excellent value for a half day tour as many tours are four times the price of this. Would highly recommend!
Every interesting to understand VC! Definitely a must to do after the war museum! Our tour guide Tom was very friendly and funny, it was a bit difficult to understand him but we got used to his accents at the end the tour. It wouldn't have been the same without him.
We planned to visit Cu Chi Tunnel and was looking for tour when we reached HCMC. Hotel quoted us usd80 per pax while taxi quoted us usd100 per pax. Our Vietnam friend went to local agent and also around the same price. My friend got me the e-voucher through Viator and it cost me only 49.56sgd for two. It is so worth it. The tour was conducted by local tour TNK. We got the e-voucher and went to TNK tour for confirmation and giving the pick up address. Hope they can improve where there is a field to put in pick-up address and send us confirmation with pick up address on it. This solve the trouble that we have to visit the TNK travel agent personally to confirm.
It was 1.5 to 2 hours drive from HCMC depending on traffic condition. The bus which took us there was air-conditioned and tour guide speaks good English.
Cu Chi tunnel is a very fascinating place to visit, we can see how creative they were in war time. The underground tunnel is so tiny and I was not able to go through all. The highlight will be the Shooting range where we needed to purchase the bullet and practice in the shooting range. The price of the bullet is not cheap, 2.50sgd per bullet and minimum purchase of 10 bullets. It was worth and we had fun in the shooting range.
1 buy the tour ticket from Viator, a lots cheaper
2 opt for afternoon tour, not as busy as morning tour
3 wear proper attire. Advise to wear thin clothing due to hot weather, sneaker and proper walking shoes, umbrella or electronic hand held fan, hat or cap etc. Be prepare that it may be raining days and the soil will get wet and muddy. Try not to wear white shoes if possible because muddy soil can stain onto white shoes.
4 prepare enough water for the tour due to hot weather. Tour guide will give one bottle of mineral water, but good to prepare more water.
5 may need to prepare insect repellent too.
The trip was awesome! My friends and I enjoyed it a lot! Alex is an extraordinary tour guide, I never seen such a fun loving and passionate tour guide in my life ...
La nostra guida è stata eccezionale e molto entusiasta. Giro be organizzato e rimborso previsto per il taxi che avevamo dovuto prendere per arrivare in agenzia per la partenza! Consigliato!
The tour was really accommodating and the tour guide was really engaging! Definitely felt like we got more out of what we paid for, this trip really exceeded our expectations and I had 3 other friends go on the tour after me because I told them they couldn and #39;t visit Ho Chi Minh without it!
We had a great afternoon and really enjoyed this tour. The Cu Chi tunnels were interesting but the real highlight was our tour guide! Unfortunately I can't remember his name but I think his nickname is Mr Australia. He was very entertaining and made the bus journey enjoyable. He provided lots of information and a song about Vietnam and gave an insight into their culture and people. Loved the trip!
Definitely worth the price paid on viator which includes the entrance fee... The others on our tour who booked through agents etc had to pay the fee in cash on the bus. Tour guide had great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about the tunnels. Would recommend.
No visit to HCMC would be complete without a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Our family of 5 2 adults and 3 children ages 9, 6 and 5 years booked an afternoon tour through TNK Travel. Pick-up time was 1pm and drop-off was 6:30 p.m. There were about 30 people on our tour bus. We watched a short documentary while en route to the tunnels. Our tour guide's English was reasonably good and he had a wealth of knowledge about the tunnels. The drive was comfortable and didn't seem all that long 1.5 hours each way. Because we did the afternoon tour, it wasn't too busy nor too hot and we didn't feel rushed along the trail. You will learn a lot about the fascinating history of these tunnels and will gain knowledge about the great lengths the Viet Cong went to to evade American troops during the war. Bonus: Our children even enjoyed the tour!
A living memory historical monument, hearing shooting in the jungle contributes to create the Cu Chi atmosphere. Recommended!
Tour was amazing. Tour guide was informative and knowledgable. Tour length was just right. Also very accommodating, as we missed the guide who came to pick us up from the hotel, but they guided us well in where to meet to get the bus.

The Cu Chi tunnels were interesting, but sad to visit. About what we expected going there.
This tour was excellent. Great value as the cheapest on TA. Our group size was about 35 people, but it didn't feel that large. We were able to see everything and hear the guide the whole time. If you book this tour over a more private or small group experience, be sure to keep up with the guide and stay towards the front so you don't miss anything.
The bus was top notch. The ac worked great and it was very comfortable. Our guide was the best part of this tour. He did a great job explaining everything and answering any questions. We had no problems understanding him, and he was very fun and enthusiastic. He kept the mood light with jokes even though the subject matter was quite dark.
Perfectly organized tour.
The guide spoke English quite well and told us many quick facts about Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.
He even demonstrated how the Vietcongs navigated through the tunnels.
You also get the chance to shoot real guns, even tough the bullet prices are very high starts from 1 each
Hui did a fantastic job as our tour guide and we had a wonderful time at Cu Chi. His English skills were excellent, as was his knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture. His sense of humor was superb, his enthusiasm and cheerful attitude were infectious and his patient and helpful attitude were exemplary.

This was a most interesting and thought provoking afternoon, with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.
Nice trip, we choose to do the afternoon one, really nice tour.
The day was well organized, the guide was wonderful and the schedule worked out fine. However, group sizes are very big: In our case, we were 45 people even though that's the maximum since the bus was completely full. That means, that there isn't a lot of time to take pictures in the tunnels just 5-10 of us had the chance to do so and to ask questions. Also, expect the place to be crowded since there are many tourist busses at the same time there.
Great tour, very informative and convenient - only half a day. I was looking for a tour that would start in the afternoon, as we were only arriving to HCMC after 12 and didn't have much time for sightseeing. All the other tours to Chu Chi tunnels looked interesting but long, and we didn't have time, so this one seemed like a perfect solution. We were picked up on time by the bus from our hotel in District 1 alternatively, you can walk to their office which is also in District 1. Organisation of the tour is very good, the office is downtown and they have many other offers / short tours in Vietnam and Cambodia. Can be trusted! The only thing - the guide's English was sometimes difficult to understand, but I must say that overall in Vietnam I haven't met guides with great English.
Great tour. Our guide was brilliant, funny and very informative all at the same time. The tour was well organised and excellent value. Cu chi tunnels itself feels very natural and was not too crowded. One downside...take bug spray! We didn and #39;t realise it was so rural and subsequently got eaten alive!!
Comfortable trip. Everything was as stated on the website. Friendly guide.
The cu chi tunnels are definitely worth checking out. Especially for any history nerd
Fantastic job done by John our tour guide by TNK travel for this tour. Highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Vietnam. 1 suggestion to the tour company: the size of the tour group is too large in my opinion. Either have 2 guides to take care of everyone1in front and 1at back or have a smaller group. Our time crawling through the tunnel was limited and slow because of the size of the group. Also there was a large mix in the groupold and young so a bit unsafe to have elderly people in large group crawling through tunnels.
