Yes, definitely worth going on this trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. On the way we stopped at a lacquer wear factory for the disabled. Was good to see how it is made but quite expensive. You really get an understanding of how the tunnels worked and how they were made and how ingenious the Viet Cong were. Had plenty of time to ask questions and were not rushed. Got to crawl through the tunnel and also have a go a shooting a pistol. If you haven't done it before, it is an experience!

The tour was run by one of the best and trusted local operators in Ho Chi Minh City. The pick up was right on time and the vehicle used to carry us to Cu Chi area was pleasant, clean, and properly air conditioned. Our guide was very well versed in the history of Vietnam and speaking English fluently

Very nice experience! The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. Be aware that this is not a small group tour, so the pick up with a large bus may last a little long. But in spite of that everything went smoothly and we managed to do all the activities mentioned in the itinerary

Excellent tour. Duc our tour guide was phenomenal as others will testify the same. funny humorous entertainingly fun and gets his facts right on history. i mean he even corrects our hitory as we got the cold war and american war wrong. hes on and off with cu chi tunnel and mekoong trip so i highly recommend him. gave him a hefty tips after his performance singing too.

they could have managed from tour to office better. i did request for pickup at my hotel. but the day before i found out their office was just 1 road down. so the next day i told the lady im here already and in the bus waiting 20min for them to find me ahaha

We had a great time. It was well organized and ur guides were both knowledgeable and humorous. The bus was comfortable and the tour was interesting. It was also fun to shoot the AK47s optional. The minimum 10 bullets costs 500,000 dong and goes fast, but for a one time thing we enjoyed it. Overall, the price of the tour and the quality was a great value.

Excellent tour, our guide John was both humorous and informative. Excellent value for a half day tour as many tours are four times the price of this. Would highly recommend!

Every interesting to understand VC! Definitely a must to do after the war museum! Our tour guide Tom was very friendly and funny, it was a bit difficult to understand him but we got used to his accents at the end the tour. It wouldn't have been the same without him.

We planned to visit Cu Chi Tunnel and was looking for tour when we reached HCMC. Hotel quoted us usd80 per pax while taxi quoted us usd100 per pax. Our Vietnam friend went to local agent and also around the same price. My friend got me the e-voucher through Viator and it cost me only 49.56sgd for two. It is so worth it. The tour was conducted by local tour TNK. We got the e-voucher and went to TNK tour for confirmation and giving the pick up address. Hope they can improve where there is a field to put in pick-up address and send us confirmation with pick up address on it. This solve the trouble that we have to visit the TNK travel agent personally to confirm.
It was 1.5 to 2 hours drive from HCMC depending on traffic condition. The bus which took us there was air-conditioned and tour guide speaks good English.
Cu Chi tunnel is a very fascinating place to visit, we can see how creative they were in war time. The underground tunnel is so tiny and I was not able to go through all. The highlight will be the Shooting range where we needed to purchase the bullet and practice in the shooting range. The price of the bullet is not cheap, 2.50sgd per bullet and minimum purchase of 10 bullets. It was worth and we had fun in the shooting range.
Tips:
1 buy the tour ticket from Viator, a lots cheaper
2 opt for afternoon tour, not as busy as morning tour
3 wear proper attire. Advise to wear thin clothing due to hot weather, sneaker and proper walking shoes, umbrella or electronic hand held fan, hat or cap etc. Be prepare that it may be raining days and the soil will get wet and muddy. Try not to wear white shoes if possible because muddy soil can stain onto white shoes.
4 prepare enough water for the tour due to hot weather. Tour guide will give one bottle of mineral water, but good to prepare more water.
5 may need to prepare insect repellent too.

The tour was really accommodating and the tour guide was really engaging! Definitely felt like we got more out of what we paid for, this trip really exceeded our expectations and I had 3 other friends go on the tour after me because I told them they couldn and #39;t visit Ho Chi Minh without it!

We had a great afternoon and really enjoyed this tour. The Cu Chi tunnels were interesting but the real highlight was our tour guide! Unfortunately I can't remember his name but I think his nickname is Mr Australia. He was very entertaining and made the bus journey enjoyable. He provided lots of information and a song about Vietnam and gave an insight into their culture and people. Loved the trip!

Definitely worth the price paid on viator which includes the entrance fee... The others on our tour who booked through agents etc had to pay the fee in cash on the bus. Tour guide had great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about the tunnels. Would recommend.

No visit to HCMC would be complete without a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Our family of 5 2 adults and 3 children ages 9, 6 and 5 years booked an afternoon tour through TNK Travel. Pick-up time was 1pm and drop-off was 6:30 p.m. There were about 30 people on our tour bus. We watched a short documentary while en route to the tunnels. Our tour guide's English was reasonably good and he had a wealth of knowledge about the tunnels. The drive was comfortable and didn't seem all that long 1.5 hours each way. Because we did the afternoon tour, it wasn't too busy nor too hot and we didn't feel rushed along the trail. You will learn a lot about the fascinating history of these tunnels and will gain knowledge about the great lengths the Viet Cong went to to evade American troops during the war. Bonus: Our children even enjoyed the tour!

Tour was amazing. Tour guide was informative and knowledgable. Tour length was just right. Also very accommodating, as we missed the guide who came to pick us up from the hotel, but they guided us well in where to meet to get the bus.

The Cu Chi tunnels were interesting, but sad to visit. About what we expected going there.

This tour was excellent. Great value as the cheapest on TA. Our group size was about 35 people, but it didn't feel that large. We were able to see everything and hear the guide the whole time. If you book this tour over a more private or small group experience, be sure to keep up with the guide and stay towards the front so you don't miss anything.

The bus was top notch. The ac worked great and it was very comfortable. Our guide was the best part of this tour. He did a great job explaining everything and answering any questions. We had no problems understanding him, and he was very fun and enthusiastic. He kept the mood light with jokes even though the subject matter was quite dark.
