Great tour! Best guide in Ho Chi Minh City, Roy, was the best! Take advantage of good prices on incredible artwork at end of tour that supports workers who has been affected by Agent Orange.
We had a very informative and educated guide who brought the city alive for us. A most interesting half day and highly recommended.
Really good short city trip, showing/exploring the essential sites. The guide was informative and also told us of his own family's history and how the conflict affected them
Our guide was friendly and knowledgable! Our trip had only three guests so the tour felt very personalized : Loved all the places included in the trip, esp. the Independence Palace.
Excellent service, clean comfortable car and great guide - Jun
The tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and showed up to my hotel early. We went to various places in Ho Chi Minh and even visited a local market. If you are a lone traveler and you don't want to site-see alone then this tour will suit you.
It was a great tour! My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Excellent trip. Got off to. Bad start when having waited at the hotel for pick up for 45 minutes we had to get the concierge to try to track down the tour bus. Eventually he turns up and from there on in. Everything was great. Our guide, Jun as knowledgable, mfriendly and informative, we went to all of the sites, were guided in some and left to explore in others, but we covered all of the main sights and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Excellent, just be realistic with the pick up times as its a little disconcerting sitting wondering if you've been missed out.
We had a wonderful trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and went over and beyond to help us also find items that we wanted to buy etc. I would really recommend this trip.
The best parts were the reunification palace and the war remembrance museum.
Wished more time at the museum rather than the jade emperor temple, which had a lot of smoke coming from burning joss-sticks. The museum had such rich history and photos displayed. It is so sad to see the ravages on people from agent orange. Would be nice to have more time at the Ben Thanh market and to see the city opera house as well.
This tour was ideal for me bearing in mind my limited stay in Saigon as all the locals continue to call it! and worked well. Best bits for me were the Reunification Palace you can actually feel the history in the building and the War Remnants Museum which was hugely powerful. Our guide was very good and was always on hand to answer questions and provide commentary.
Very informative and a great way to start off our trip in HCM. Our tour guide was very nice and very informative. Everything is very central and in close proximity so time was utilized very well. I very much liked the side trip to the craft store to see and learn about how some of the egg shell and soft water pearl art works are made. The pagoda palace wasn't what I expected and not really what the picture showed, but was interesting. I was picturing more of a large extravagant palace, where we saw a small, cramped and crowded shrine/temple. The information and cultural value was definitely there, just wasn't exactly what I had expected by reading about it. I know there are pagodas everywhere, so I don't know if this particular one was chosen because it was within a couple mile radius of the cathedral and post office, but maybe I prettier cleaner pagoda would have been better?
