What You Can Expect

Ho Chi Minh City Street Food Tour with Dinner

Street Food Tour with Dinner

Greet your guide and group of fellow food lovers at a central Ho Chi Minh City location and head to the bustling Old Market. Pass beautiful buildings reminiscent of the French colonial era and listen as your guide offers insight into Vietnam’s rich history.

On arrival at the Old Market, marvel at dozens of street vendors selling green papaya salad, crispy spring rolls and steamed rice cakes and inhale the enticing mélange of aromas. Sample authentic appetizers recommended by your guide and watch locals go about their daily routine.

Next, venture to Mong Bridge to watch the sun sink into the river and cast an incandescent glow on the city. Indulge next in one of the country’s most treasured specialtys, bahn mi, and savor the explosive flavors of fresh produce stuffed into a freshly baked baguette.

Sated, head to a deceptively rustic looking café to enjoy some of the city’s most gourmet coffee; sip the aromatic beverage and then feast upon com tam, a sumptuous rice dish served with grilled pork and succulent green vegetables.

Immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere of Ben Thanh Night Market to sample che, a sweet soup, and then conclude your culinary tour with an ice-cold beer at another street stall.

Bid your guide and group farewell in this bustling location and choose to continue exploring or take a taxi back to your accommodation.

A very knowledgeable, friendly and polite tour guide. Queenie was absolutely wonderful, a great conversationist and took us to multiple local haunts to indulge in only the finest local cuisines. Places that the new and regular tourist would not have a clue existed. She was extremely hospitable.

This was a really fun trip and in addition to the great food, we met a lot of nice people. Be prepared that the group may be larger than what they advertise. Stragglers kept showing up, and ultimately, our group had 19 participants! It all worked out, however.

I loved this tour. It truely was a local street food tour, with us pulling up tables and stools as we arrived and setting up at the various street stalls. I love Vietnamese food but hadnt tried some of the dishes and all were delicious. Come with an empty stomach as there is a lot of food. Highly recommended

Josh was a fantastic guide. He was informative and funny and gave us a lot of history and facts of Tokyo as well as the food and culture. The food stops were all fantastic and very diverse. A great tour to get to know the foods of Tokyo.

Our guide Ruby was so lovely. Due to the heavy rain we had to wait for a period of time before recommending - she provided us with ponchos and ensured we still had the full experience despite the 2.5hrs being well and truly over.
