Our guide took us to places that we would not have gone to ourselves and ordered lovely food that we might otherwise never have tasted. It was a very enjoyable evening that I would thoroughly recommend.
A lot of fun and very informative. We tried foods that we would not eat if we were at home. Flower was easy to communicate with and was very friendly. We had a great time!
Fabulous couple of hours. Stopped for some great food and a feeling that you're finding places you'd simply not find by yourself. Guide was informative and helpful and managed to keep pork out of all the dishes for my wife to avoid her food allergy - not easy in a city where pork is the core protein! Highly recommended.
This was an introduction to a variety of Street foods in Vietnam. Our guide took us to many places that we would not have visited on our own. He explained well the foods that we were eating. This was a nice size group for the moving about that we did. It was a great start to our first visit in Vietnam.
This was a fantastic way to see Ho Chi Minh! Our tour guide (Linda) couldn and #39;t have been better. She spoke excellent English, was extremely knowledgable and tried her absolutely best to make sure we were full (we were) and had a great time (we did!). Highly recommended!

We had a nice guide and that is importent for this wunderful evening...
My wife and I loved the tour! Dui took us to some great street food spots, and he was very knowledgable about Vietnamese history and city life. Highly recommend
Excellent Tour!! Our guide Nhi was amazing!! She was friendly, very nice, and very professional!!
She made all the difference in the world. She explained all the food culture and answered our million questions about Vietnamese culture.
The food, yummy. We tried things and went places we would never every has known about with her guidance. Our stomach was full by the first stop and we had so many more to go. Maybe about 8 or so food stops.
Go hungry and ENJOY and LEARN!! Thanks Nhi we really enjoyed your tour and your company!!!
This was fantastice, Nhi was a lot of fun and she took us to places we would never thought of stopping at to eat. Thanks for the experience of the duck egg, one we won't forget. We loved her passion and the interest she showed in the guests.
Fantastic, must be open minded about trying different food, and our personal guide, Nhi, was excellent, great local experience, highly recommend.
Totally worth doing if you have an evening to spare in Ho Chi Minh City.
A great insight into the street food stalls around the city. Our guide Duy Nguyen Uavn was very knowledgeable about all the food we tried. Our group of six were taken on a four hour walking tour which was interesting and very filling. The food was delicious and we finished off the night with a beer near a local market
We had a blast on this. We had fun fellow tour members from Australia and this evening is memorable...The food was delicious and interesting....Felt like right out of Bizarre Foods! Is a must do!
Great food, great guide... Duy! Would highly recommend the experience. See another side of Ho Chi Minh through the street food.
Had a great tour with Nhi who was fun and informative. Got to try some strange food pig skin, 20 day old duck egg and some delicious food - papaya salad, mung bean dessert, grilled pork pork with noodles, sweet and sour soup - and lots more! Plenty of food and laughs. great way to meet other travevellers and see some parts sof the city you wouldn't normally stumble across. Thumbs up.
Excellent tour. The guide, Trinh Pham, took us to places we would never have found or dared to visit by ourselves. We got to try all kinds of different local food, as well as coffee and beer. Trinh did his outmost to ensure that everyone was comfortable with the food we had, and if someone wanted to try something else, he did arrange that as well. I can really recommend this tour to anyone that wish to try local food as well as seeing places you would not have found on your own Mockingbird café.
having done a number of food tours around the world , this is one of the best , ms linda are guide for the evening was very knowledgeable, very friendly and funny !!!
all of the places she took us to eat were very good , with some great food, although i must admit i did not try some off the food the eggs
there were seven off us on this tour which was just about right , and after the food tour we finished at a local store , where we all had a few beers together and we all agreed what a great tour it had been.
if you like your food, you will love this tour
7 stops, 10 dishes/drinks to try including: rice paper/spring rolls, papaya salad, cơm tấm broken rice, sugar cane drink, sticky rice, half-hatched duck eggs only one person was game to try this, boiled meat balls on skewers, coconut candy desserts, bánh mì thịt baguette with salad and meat, chilled coconut coffee or egg coffee.
This foodtour has been a great experience! Our guide Tan was really nice, good informed, competent, friendly and funny too. He showed us different kinds of street food, told backgrounds and historic details. We've eaten mead, fish, bakery products, fruits and sweets. I think all members of our sympathetic group have been really satisfied. We will book food tours for other cities in future because it's a pleasant way to find a first access to a foreign country.
Tan was GREAT!!! He was so fun, knowledgeable, and courteous. I was really nervous to go on the tour, because my 11 year old son and I are not street food enthusiasts, but it was a great way to see the city and my son ate food that he would never have tried without Tan's assurance. He has a great personality and knows how to make his guests feel welcomed and relax to enjoy the food experience.
The spring roll stall and the very cool coffee shop - get the Egg Coffee YUM!!! - were my favorites.
The Banh mi was my son's favorite.
This was fantastic, our guide Tam was sensational and if you are lucky enough to have her as your tour guide follow her advice. This was exactly what we wanted in a back street, market tour looking at authentic food. Extremely highly recommended and eat everything and try the duck egg.
This tour rated equal first in my selection of trips booked with Viatour. The food was superb and the very best food we ate on our whole 10 day trip of Saigon and Cambodia. Our guide Tom was a star. There were seven people on the trip and everyone was very friendly. Tom set the tone with his friendliness. This was great value and we learned lots about Vietnam, not just about street food. I would recommend this to anyone who likes good food. All the wimps I heard say Oh don't eat the street food! Well as I already said it was the best food we ate in 10 days and we stayed at 5 star hotels.
