Begin your tour with a 7.30am pickup from your central Hobart hotel and admire the views as you leave the city behind and wind through the countryside of Southern Tasmania.
After an around 1.5-hour drive, jump out to walk the Tahune Airwalk – a cantilevered bridge suspended up to 164 feet (50 meters) above the forest floor. Admire views over the Tahune Forest and the Huon River from the Airwalk, then brave the 328-foot (100-meter) long swinging bridge that crosses the river.
Continue into the Hastings Caves National Park, where you’ll have chance to swim at the Thermal Springs pool. With waters at 82˚F (28˚C) all year round, the natural hot springs are the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
After drying off, follow your guide on a nature trail through the forest, then head underground to explore the impressive Newdegate Cave, Australia’s largest tourist cave.
On the return journey to Hobart, stop at a fruit plantation in the Huon Valley to sample seasonal fruits such as apples, cherries, and apricots. Back in the city, your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 5.30pm.
