Managed to visit many great places in just one day! Time was well managed, the driver kindly booked us tours for the places so we learned a lot, not just wander around.

I had a great time on this tour! The views were stunning, Richmond is lovely and the wildlife reserve was a very nice experience. The guide was very informative, the small group size allowed for flexibility and cold bottled water was appreciated.

Excellent tour, except that the driver/tour guide did not use his speaker and it was oftendifficult to hear what he said. During the latter part of the tour, he mainly conversed with the front-seat passenger.

Tour bus picked us up at the time given. Small group in our case meant four other people and the driver Renke.
First to Bonorong which we arrived at about 09.30, when the Wildlife Sanctuary was still very quiet. This had several advantages. The animals were more lively, the kangaroos were still hungry and fed from your hand easily and the staff had more time to speak to the visitors. In the hour we spent there we heard a talk about the Tasmanian Devil and saw them feed.
Next we went to Richmond, a pretty village with Australia's oldest bridge. Nice, but too many tourist traps for me.
Then we went up Mount Wellington, which gives spectacular views over Hobart and beyond.
As a bonus, being early in the season, we were offered the chance to go to Tahune Air-Walk, which added about 4.5 hours to the day but was well worth it for the views of the beautiful forest and river. As someone who doesn't really like heights I felt quite safe as long as you don't look down.
Renke, the driver/guide, was a careful driver and very knowledgeable. He gave us the facts we needed to know, but on questioning him he knew a lot more if you were interested.
In all, a long but enjoyable, interesting trip.

The tour was worth it! Views from Mt Wellington were superb. Because we were a small group we voted to go to a different location rather than the one named above. The driver agreed, but neglected to let us know that if we did that there would not be time to do the third site listed. The driver did provide bottled water which was very much appreciated.
