Your foodie experience begins with pickup from your Hoi An hotel in time for a 9am or 2pm departure (depending on tour option selected). After meeting your guide and small group of up to 10 people, set out by bicycle or motorbike to explore the countryside around Hoi An.
Kick off your tasting tour with a bowl of Cao Lau, a Hoi An specialty of noodles, pork, fresh vegetables and rice paper. Taste some of the best in the region, at a local village, and hear how the noodles are made with sticky rice soaked in the water from the Ba Le Well, the oldest well in Hoi An.
Continue to a local family home to help make another Hoi An specialty, white rose cakes – a shrimp-stuffed dumpling shaped like a rose.
The final stop of the day is in Cam Nam village, where you’ll feast on more tasty Vietnamese dishes, and learn the ancient tradition of ‘Ying and Yang foods’.
After a morning or afternoon taking in the region’s culinary delights, return to Hoi An, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
