We enjoyed a pleasant evening with a knowledgeable tour guide and delicious bahn mi. It was fascinating seeing the sights in the market stalls and all the fresh things they sell. We finished our tour with a beverage and coconut biscuits. We had to find a vendor after so we could purchase some of the coconut cookies to take home to share.
We loved this tour to learn about and experience the local food in Hoi An. We visited the local markets where there are different sections for the various foods. We started with a wonderful bahn mi made with the lightest and crusty bread roll, filled with extremely tasty meats and salad. Over the rest of the tour we ate fried shootings, white rise dumplings, local rice pancakes filled with salad, local chicken and rice, muscle salad, and other meals as well before we finished with a drink at the covered Japanese bridge. Flora was a terrific guide and made our tour very interesting. There was a lot of food on the tour so my advice is to have a small lunch so you can make the most off this tour.
We loved this tour it was fabulous our tour guide Lou was brilliant very knowledgable took us to places we would not have been able to find the food was included in the price of the tour just paid for a few beers and water on way local price good mix of people on the tour a big shout out to you all!!!.
The Hoi An Food Tour was a perfect start to our stay in HoiAn. It provided us with highlights of the different foods available plus it gave us a bearing on what's where in Old Town. I'd would do this tour again and will look for similar tours at other destinations!!
my tour guide was a Hoi An local, who managed to keep the group interested informed and genuine! The only misunderstanding was no real direction where to meet, I just guessed I had to go to the office. Also suggestion pay for Old Town entry ticket before starting it saves time.
This was one of the two best things I did in Vietnam. The tour covered a lot of food and places, and was really well organised. I felt like I had properly tasted local food, in places I would not have found or gone into by myself.
loved every minute of the tour.the girl who took us on the tour was brilliant.sorry cant remember her name.was very informative and obviously loved Hoi An.
Enjoyed the tour, we got to taste some great foods. our guide was very friendly and informative. The only negative was that the whole tour seemed a little rushed.
Amazing food, great local knowledge anyone visiting Hoi An should do this tour.
The tour was great! Our tour guide took us to some wonderful hinted gems
Luong was a great guide. And most importantly everyone was full and happy at the end. Highly recommended.
Louang was such a great guide! She showed us some delicious local dishes we wouldn't have otherwise known to try, and was a wealth of fun and knowledge.
We loved this tour. We got to see lots of Hoi An and taste food from a variety of places we would not normally find. We took our daughter who is 9 and she loved it too.
Excellent guide, great selection of foods, nice pace. 4 people 2 couples on this tour -- good group size. Be aware that in non-western restaurants throughout VN, the chairs are about 6 inches off the floor/ground. If you have trouble getting up and down, this could be a problem. Solution would be to bring your own cane seat or stick chair, which several of our tour group acquired during our 10 days in VN.
This is a brilliant tour. We did it on the first night so we knew where to go back to. Food was great. It gave me more confidence to eat locally and from the markets. We suffered from food coma! Our guide Luke was great and very informative. Highly recommend it.
Our night tour started out with meeting our lovely guide 'Luc'..... who spoke perfect english. He explained exactly what we would be doing on our 2.5hr tour. He took us to around 6-7 different places to try some of Hoi An's best eats. Our favourite would have to be the Hoi An Pizza, and no, it's not the pizza you're thinking of, this was a totally different taste altogether, but really yummy. This place was up some alley way, a place we would never think to venture to, but we were so glad that Luc could show us this place. We finished out night off by sitting outside of a bar which was right alongside the river and had a beer with Luc. Great tour. Highly recommended
Our guide Nguyen was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the local cuisine and culture. There was plenty of food and it was all delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable. The food was exquisite and gave us ideas of what and where to eat for the rest of our stay
Delightful guide. Heaps of local food and interesting information. Vegetarian place was the only one I didn't enjoy and not because it was vegetarian. Bagettes amazing. Good value for money.

What a great way to spend an evening, just the 4 of us on the tour, which was lead by Luc our guide, what a lovely person, He was knowledgeable and friendly and spoke really good English. He made our food journey fun and we tried foods which we wouldn't have tried if out by ourselves.
This tour was great. Luc Dinh was my tour guide and picked some delicious dishes I'd never guess to try. He was very knowledgeable and shared some great stories about his culture. Overall great tour with good food and company. Just be sure to book on an empty stomach as there's lots of food!
